"Remember that you are not alone there. We are with you in prayer, in talks whispered at night, in the eyes of children asking erstwhile you will return. Your fight makes sense. Your voice matters. And your strength gives us strength" - wrote the protesters the sixth day of the miners from Silesia PG their wives, partners, mothers and sisters.

What you request to know:The mountains of PG Silesia began protest underground on Monday before Christmas Eve, deciding not to leave for the mine after the shift.
The reason for the protest is, among others, the deficiency of inclusion of Silesia PG mine in the amendment of the Mining Act and non-payment of benefits.
On the eve of miners, Piotr Duda, president of the National Commission of the NSZZ "Solidarity" visited.


"We are with you all thought and all heartbeat"

Representatives of the Regional Management Board of Podbeskid NSZZ "Solidarity" present made available through social media a letter which families of protestor miners wrote to their relatives.


We compose to you from places where our lives beat all day - from houses, kitchens, courtyards, from under gates and windows. Though we share the meters of earth and the silence of the underworld, we are with you all thought and all heartbeat

You came down there out of dignity, out of responsibility, out of concern for the future - not only your own, but besides our families, children, generations. Your protest is not rebellion, it's a call for respect for work that has always been hard, dangerous and undervalued

Representatives of protesting miners in PG Silesia went present to the Children's home in Czechowice-Dziedzki. They gave their children at the request of the protesters sweets and another products they received from their families.
"They will protest to the end"

The 6th day of the underground protest of the miners from PG Silesia is already underway. Protesters request first of all that they come to Chekovic-Governing Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyka. They have besides made demands, in which they demand, among others, to cover them with the cover of another mine workers. They besides demand, among others, the payment of their late barbor.

On Thursday, Minister Motyka invited protesters and trade unionists to a gathering of the Tripartite manufacture Group on Social safety of Miners. It is to be held on 7 January in the Silesian provincial office.

The miners and trade unionists were critical of this proposal. president of KK NSZZ "Solidarity" Piotr Duda wrote on platform X that "because of the deficiency of any consequence to the demands, miners proceed to protest and declare that they will stay underground until the end".

Piotr Duda besides published a post signed by trade union leaders in Silesia. They pointed out that only the arrival of Minister Motyka to the protesters and the discussion with crew representatives could lead to the cessation of the protest.


"Minister Miłosz Motyka laughs miners with PG Silesia right in the face. After the embarrassment that has occurred in fresh days, there is only 1 way out for him - he should resign immediately. This man has not grown up to service as the 1 entrusted to him."
