Then Roman Gierty entered the phase – a man who, like no one, could turn a mistake into a conspiracy. In his style, with pompous assurance and dramatic tone, he stated that the PiS was falsifying the election. And it's not just that – they had specially trained people! People who knew where and how to twist the results to make Trzaskowski look worse. It's like a ninja, but with pens and protocols.
I perceive to this and laughter on the 1 hand, and on the another – I am genuinely sad. due to the fact that it's completely absurd. The committees included representatives of all parties – including the Civic Coalition. Everyone looks at everyone's hands, everybody signs the same protocols. Then how the hell could it be "falsified"? What, they all conspired? Even the KOs? It's not the Matrix anymore, it's Monty Python in the election version.
I can't aid feeling that Gierty knows that there was no forgery. And that his goal is not truth, but effect. The point is that the KO voters think that the Platform did not lose – it was only deceived. due to the fact that then you don't gotta explain yourself to a weak score, you don't gotta analyse mistakes. All you gotta do is quit: “They manipulated, falsified, cheated!” and now. The average supporter will buy it from the place without blinking.
They can't even lose honor... They never could. There's no area for reflection, no area for admission to defeat. Losing is treason. all score they don't think is simply a conspiracy. Besides, Poland is most likely the first country in which the opposition faked elections, having a government, structures, committees and all observers against each other. We're capable.
Only that this game is at the expense of something very crucial – trust. And without trust, there is no democracy. You may not like the opponent, you may be disappointed in the result, you can even throw meat at the urn – but you must not be impunityless and without evidence undermine the full process. due to the fact that if everything is simply a forgery, then everything is useless. And that's why it's only a step to make people halt voting at all.
And 1 more thing. If individual so much in public accuses others of fraud, I'm beginning to wonder if they talk from their own experience. due to the fact that my observations show that people who shout the loudest “thief!” frequently hold their hand in individual else's pocket. That's how we do it – first we plan our own sins, then we resent that individual pierced us in them.

So no, Counselor – the PiS did not train an army of counterfeiters. But you evidently learned from populism. but it's not a screaming contest. This is an election. And elections regulation by fact, not by fairy tales. Even if for any the fact is little bearable than a conspiracy.
