Eva Zajączkowska-Hernik. Speech in the European Parliament.
"European farmers have been presented by the European Commission as a problem over fresh years. The European Commission's actions and statements show that farmers are the most unwanted social group within the Union and that this dialog will not change the impression that has been made over the last fewer years.
Over a decade, 3 million farms have ceased to be in Europe. The average age of a farmer is 57 years. Nevertheless, the European Commission is pursuing a policy of radically expanding the cost of agricultural production within the European Union while facilitating imports of agricultural products from 3rd countries.
According to any studies, the value of imports into the Union will increase by EUR 3 billion or even EUR 4 billion over the next 8 years.
Agriculture is not sex equality. Agriculture is European food security. Agriculture is simply a competitive production and do not bring this strategical branch of the European economy into the function of absurdity.
I have any questions, although I do not anticipate an answer from specified an interest from the MEPs.
• Why is the European Commission building the image of European agriculture as a problem for the European Union?
• Why does the European Commission want to destruct Europeans' food security?
• What does the European Commission want to accomplish by expanding the cost of food production in Europe and facilitating non-EU food imports?
• How is the simplification of European production and liberalisation of imports from Ukraine and the Mersocur States to the Union intended to advance short food supply chains?
The European Green Deal should be thrown in the trash.
Why do you want to destruct Europe's food safety Green Deal – this is how I defend agriculture in the debate in the European Parliament!
