– Today we want to give your comment and your assessment to the migration policy of the Donald Tusk government.
This policy has a immense rhetorical phrase. This is simply a 180 degree turn: from speaking about “poor people looking for their place on earth” to talking about hybrid warfare, supporting forceful expulsions across the border, strengthening the barrier, announcing the cessation of asylum applications.
However, we in the Confederacy are not curious in rhetoric, due to the fact that we know that rhetoric is simply a sphere of propaganda in politics and there are already fitting for the election presidential campaign, in which Donald Tusk may be 1 of possible candidates. We're curious in facts.
And as for these facts, we see, ladies and gentlemen, hypocrisy. We see that the government says 1 thing, the another does the other. We, this hypocrisy as a substantive opposition, will definitely expose, and as authors Responsible Migration Policy Package, which opposes this policy, which the European Union, supported, recalls by Euro MPs from the current ruling coalition, organised in the form of a pact on migration and asylum.
We believe that these harmful EU solutions and those supported by various left-wing organisations must be opposed to a sensible policy. We described this policy wisely in a wide package of solutions presented by us in 2023 under the name of the liable Migration Policy Package.
So what does the Donald Tusk government do? On the 1 hand, it announces that it will not implement the Pact on Migration and Asylum, on the another hand, the Prime Minister himself said that we would supposedly gain from it in any way! On the 1 hand, he says that he will suspend its implementation in Poland, on the another hand, he does not challenge him to the Court of Justice of the European UnionAlthough clearly this pact on migration and asylum goes beyond the treaties! It goes beyond the competences that the Polish state delegated to the European Union.
It has never been said that the European Union will be for us, for our society, for our authorities, for our institutions, for the Sejm in which we are, to decide who is to live in Poland and who is to be financed by Polish taxpayers! This has nothing to do with the rule of the free movement of people on which the European Union is built, which applies to citizens of the European Union.
Already in the area of legally resident non-EU foreigners, associate States are free to accept them or not. There are appropriate instruments for the full Union area, Schengen visas and single countries. That's what these instruments are for, to regulate these population flows. We are in favour of each country having its own policy in this regard.
In the meantime, erstwhile again, the Government of Tusk, on the 1 hand, announces the fight against illegal immigration, the cessation of the issuing of asylum and the cessation of the implementation of the Pact on Migration and Asylum. On the another hand, just last week the Prime Minister accepted the European Council conclusions, stating rather clearly that the countries are to step up work on all the directions of action provided for in its comprehensive approach to migration, namely the European Union, presented in February 2023.
What was presented in February 2023? What is behind this enigmatic phrase? Of course, then, in February 2023, as everyone who does not follow it so closely, already guessed, was presented the Pact on Migration and Asylum. The same pact as the Prime Minister in Poland claims that, depending on the month, we will either not implement it or gain it.
The reason that indeed the Polish state is preparing to implement the Pact on Migration and Asylum, which, let us remind, is the alleged forced pseudo-solidarity, which means that we will be sent to people who do not want to live here, so that we can keep them, is to spend at a time erstwhile there is no money to defend wellness for hospitals, for science, for improvement projects – there is to spend immense money on creating 49 centres of migration policy! Centers for the Integration of Foreigners. At a time erstwhile Poles fall into poverty, erstwhile they are incapable to wait for hospitals to be paid for their wellness services, the government wants to spend millions on the Centres for the Integration of Foreigners. There's something very, very incorrect here.

So Donald Tusk could veto it – he didn't veto it. He could have sued the EU Treaty on Migration and Asylum, he did not.
There is besides information that a joint declaration has been issued by the organization to which the Civic Platform and Prime Minister Tusk, the European People's Party, belong, besides concerning the implementation of the Pact on Migration and Asylum. And the most crucial thing. The platform and another parties of the current coalition have supported Mrs von der Leyen for another word of office, and she has never covered that the Pact on Migration and Asylum is her work and that she is simply a supporter of the full implementation of this.
And it's not over! due to the fact that erstwhile we look at what is happening in Poland, we besides have something that looks like 1 large smoke screen. I mean, 2 announcements from the Prime Minister. 1 that he would not talk differently at different times: he first said that the right to asylum would be suspended and later that he would accept asylum applications from illegal immigrants on the border.
