As he reports, in a speech of undisclosed pride, tv Belsat, in Poland was created Belarusian “Popolite Ruszenie”. We learn that it is an organization "of a patriotic, defensive and sporting character" created for people who want to fight for Ukraine, as well as those who want to be ready to fight for free Belarus.
I pay peculiar attention to the last words. due to the fact that Belsat's employees have said straight what the Belarusian side has been talking about for respective months. Military training of Belarusian political radicals takes place in Poland. Their goal will be to overthrow constitutional order in Belarus and take power there. Thus, for the money of the Polish taxpayer, under the watchful eye and umbrella of the Polish peculiar services, at least the future subversives are trained in our country, but unfortunately the terrorists are most likely here.
According to Belsat, the paramilitary organization now has about 150 members. The branches, called “chorągami”, are located in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdańsk, Łódź, Poznań and Białystok, as well as Lithuania – in Vilnius and Kaunas. That's where the training takes place. The first started last autumn.
The founders of the “Common Movement” tend to train mainly young people, not only Belarusians, but besides another nations' volunteers. They stress that their aim is primarily to "unify in the request to fight the Russian invader and prepare for the fight for the liberation of Belarus". Nothing to add.
The crisis caused by the Polish side in relations with the Republic of Belarus has been going on for decades. Many years of interference in the interior affairs of Belarus, the production of anti-government propaganda by the Polish payer tv Belsat, and even the usage of Poles in political competitions in Belarus, were, however, long tolerated by the authorities in Minsk. The geopolitical importance of Warsaw and the common interests made the pragmatic aspect win in Belarus with the emotional aspect. Therefore, despite successive warming and cooling waves of relations, they remained broadly correct.
The situation changed diametrically in the summertime of 2020, erstwhile Poland made an unsuccessful effort to interfere with the result of the elections in Belarus. At the time I could not realize the objectives of the Polish authorities. It is now clear that Poland was pursuing the strategical interests of its main ally, or, in fact, its protector. Apart from the apparent assessment of specified a proceeding, it should be noted that the initiative to escalate the crisis was on the Polish side. It was the Polish peculiar services that provided operational care for anti-Lukashenko activists of Belarusian diaspora. It was Poland, alongside Lithuania, that provided support for Swiatlana Cichanouska, even recognizing her as the legitimate president of the Republic of Belarus.
Later it was just worse. Although the president of Belarus originally demonstrated a willingness to break the deadlock, he made certain to make instruments of burdensome force on his partner. In the absence of a reaction from Warsaw over the Polish border first tiny groups, then more and more migrants from the mediate East and Africa began to arrive. Bilateral relations with the cold have become cold. After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine they stopped almost completely.
The last manifestation of the "exchange of kindness" was the closing of the Polish border crossing point in Bobrowniki. Minister of the Interior Mariusz Kamiński justified this motion with an enigmatic "interest of State security". However, it is informally said that this was a reaction to fresh conviction by the court in Grodno by Andrzej Pochobut. Apart from Andżeliki Boris, his political activity contributed not only to the breakdown of the Union of Poles in Belarus, but besides to the engagement of Belarusian Poles in strict political, anti-government games. Consequently, to make them hostages to a geopolitical clash of Titans. In view of the subversive activity of Poczopbut, the judgement of the court is full understandable. On the another hand, Kamiński's empty motion harms mainly Polish carriers, which seems to not affect the government in Warsaw.
The creation and training of paramilitary forces in Poland, intended for action against the administration of the neighbouring state, is, however, an escalation of the conflict on an unprecedented scale. The escalation is full intended because, as I remind you, this information does not come from independent journalists, but from the Polish payer Bielsat. What goals does the Warsaw government want to accomplish in this way? – we can only presume. However, these are surely not Polish goals, resulting from our interest and our reason for the state.
Meanwhile, the price for Warsaw's execution of Washington's orders will be paid by Poles surviving in Belarus. Unfortunately, not for the first time and most likely not for the last time.
