A fresh spokesperson for the government, and at the same time a minister for European Union affairs (i.e. the man from everything and nothing), joined the function which, as it turns out, was a key missing link in the success of Donald Tusk's government.
Because, you know, the problem with this government wasn't what he was doing. Nope. The problem was he didn't talk about it enough. Well, as a classical utilized to say – if it doesn't go, then you gotta change the narrative. We're changing, so we have a fresh face. An anxious friend.
Adam the Trap fits the part like he did. It's not ironic, it's constaty. You don't request to be a rhetorical genius to say that power was looking for individual who would realize for everyone – especially for those who have problem knowing anything. The trap speaks slowly, inconsistently, with interruptions and doubts. That's human. He's not intimidating, he's not showing off, he's not utilizing hard words. And if anything, it's just by accident.
I don't mean to be mean, but the government has yet found individual who communicates so ineptly that nobody notices what they're saying. The genius of simplicity. A trap is simply a man who can say everything in 1 sentence, but besides nothing, and besides make a mistake 3 times. In 3 minutes, she can make 4 contradictory thesis and a 5th about the request to "release the economy" as if she were any kind of hostage. And no 1 interrupts him. Why?
Prime Minister Tusk said that Traps are "the individual the media will contact." Very good. The media will be able to talk and we – citizens – will breathe. Eventually, the message of the day will be as clear as the morning bigos after the wedding: something is bugging there, but it is not known from which side to approach.
But possibly that's the point. possibly the fresh quality of communication is to say adequate to say nothing? Minister of Trap – pardon, spokesperson – stated with modesty that “sometimes modesty in public life can be a disadvantage.” And I naively thought that incompetence was a flaw. But I guess I don't know each other.
And here comes a fresh narrative: the government did everything right, but had no spokesperson to pass it on. So now he will. In six months – knowing this cabaret – it will turn out that the spokesperson failed. A spokesperson will change, then possibly the media, then the nation. due to the fact that the problem isn't in the content, it's in the message. It's not public opinion, it's not government policy.
The trap in his tv era besides said something about "massive and direct transfers to citizens". It's like we're a gas station, and the government just flooded us with a bonus. 800+, grandma's, rise – all this has been done, but now it will be told nicer. Kind of like a fairy tale about Snow White: everyone knows, but you can tell again. Only this version of Snow White has difficulty diction and does not finish sentences.
