Confederate press conference attended by Grzegorz Braun and Michał Waver, 22 May 2024.
Michał Wawer:
– Donald Tusk issued an order to appoint a government commission to counter Russian influence. This committee is simply a political circus. A political circus performed by the Prime Minister, who should start searching for Russian influences with his own party.
Because who's going after Belarusian and Russian agents in Poland? Those Platform politicians who ran with grids to the border protesting against building a wall and against stopping illegal immigration soaked across the Belarusian border? Those who, together with the 3rd Road and the Left, voted against the construction of the barrier on the Belarusian border?
Mr Sterczewski is simply a symbol of this very policy, in line with the interests of Russian politics, which the Platform has been conducting for years. Just as Prime Minister Tusk, who was a supporter of the reset in relations with Russia and at the command of Berlin for years led pro-Russian politics. First as the leader of the Polish State, then as an EU official. Today, the same people who carried out Russian interests – without being Russian agents, due to the fact that we should not be fooled by written-platform propaganda, there are no open agents at the top of the power in Poland. On the another hand, There are people who for years conducted policies incompatible with the Polish national interest and consistent with the interests of the German and Russian powers.
Tusk besides admitted that Over 90% of illegal immigrants leaking to Poland across the Belarusian border have Russian visas. He announced it as if it were any kind of discovery. It's obvious! What visas should illegal immigrants enter Poland through organized crime operating in Russia and Belarus? Of course, these are Russian and Belarusian visas. Donald Tusk knew this very well erstwhile he protested the construction of a barrier on the border. He knew this very well erstwhile his people called for immigrants to let everyone in as they were going, and check only later, erstwhile they were already in the territory of the Polish State.
Let's see, who was assigned by Prime Minister Tusk to the chair of the committee on Russian influence. This president is General Guardian, erstwhile Military Information Services Officer. WSI is, as I recall, the only peculiar service, the only body in general, the institution of the Polish State, which after the fall of communism was not verified! Are people from the only unverified in terms of cooperation with Russia with peculiar services to be the ones present to account for politicians, officials of another parties from their ties to Russia, from Russian influences, from their pro-Russian policies? I'm leaving it as a rhetorical question.
As for the committee on Russian influence, The Confederacy says the same thing we said at the time erstwhile the Law and Justice tried to set up a committee on Russian influence. Russian influence should be handled by counterintelligence, peculiar services should be handled. Calling to this political committee, whether MPs or officials, is making a political circus, political saviour for media purposes, not for a real fight against Russian influence. If peculiar services deficiency money, deficiency people, then the government and the Sejm are tasked with giving them more money and more proven people. And this is the only way to effectively fight Russian influences in Polish politics. This is what we call on Prime Minister Tusk, and we call on Polish voters not to be fooled.
Don't be fooled by this Prime Minister Tusk, who is now anti-Russian and anti-immigrant. Remember that A fewer years ago Prime Minister Tusk was a very pro-Russian politician, who pursued a reset policy with Russia, which supported German-Russian interests against Poland. Remember, it's inactive the same man who protested against the construction of a barrier at the borderwho He encouraged illegal immigrants to take all the waves coming from Belarus. And he criticized those who opposed and demanded a liable immigration policy. That's not what he said, that's not what he says for election purposes today. And you can be certain that When the elections are over, erstwhile another winds are heard from Berlin and Brussels, this old Tusk will return: pro-Russian and pro-immigrant. Don't be fooled.
