The Israeli army reported the recovery of the remains of the last hostage kidnapped by Hamas during the attack of October 7, 2023. This is about Ran Gvile's police officer. His identity was confirmed on Monday following the completion of the recognition procedure.
Gvili's wound died in October 2023 during the Hamas attack on 1 of the Israeli kibbutzes. His body was being held in Gaza. Transfer of remains means fulfilling 1 of the key conditions of the first phase of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
