19-year-old dog by Tony Blizzard, Lobo
He's clinging to life. Tony, who was 82 in 2015, thinks,
Lobo is simply a model of Christian acceptance.
"Christians are asked to endure without complaint, as Christ did. It's a good thought for everyone in the planet due to the fact that we all endure at any point in our lives."
I asked Tony if he was truly 91: Yes, Henry, I'm 91... but not for long. If I last another period plus, it's 92.

It does. The old dog. Very old husky. I've been surviving in this town for 13 years, but Lobo's way ahead of me. I was told he was about 19, which is over 130 for a dog.
He's been my companion for 8 or 9 years. For the past 18 months, I've come to the conclusion that he's inactive about a week old. But he's just coming back. He has quite a few courage and a strong will to live, though his life is fast approaching and mostly sleeping and resting.
The walks he always loved - erstwhile he could not escape and run all over the city - gradually had to limit himself from covering our city to circling a friend block (three times a day to two, to one, and sometimes to one), and then to a place 4 houses away, where he frequently receives treats. Now he can't always get that far before he can barely get home.
He erstwhile barked hard erstwhile he had to leave, but for a year his voice disappeared, so he couldn't wake me up anymore or say he had to leave.
For any time, he has been betrayed by hind legs, which seems to happen to most large dogs that age. First, he fell erstwhile in a while, usually while making fast turns. But it was getting worse until now, erstwhile he seldom gets up without me raising his hind limbs. Sometimes erstwhile I was doing another things, not paying attention, he was getting into hurtful situations, but he couldn't scream or step aside. He just has to wait patiently until I find him and put him in a average position.

: I know that animals have no tendency to complain, but this is simply a step more than I always expected. Now he knows that he, like me in the old age, is no longer a self-sufficient, self-government creature to which he was created.
As his abilities fade—including his eyesight recently—he becomes increasingly dependent on me. Recently, he frequently falls, and sometimes falls again immediately after I choice him up due to the fact that he does not wait for his feet to be under him decently before he starts walking. He has "accidents" at home due to the fact that he can't inform me and he seems to appreciate me cleaning up for him.
I gotta cut his food into tiny pieces due to the fact that he has no teeth; He can only usage his tongue to suck the pieces he can swallow into his mouth. He cannot scratch himself, and he appreciates scratching or rubbing his ears very much.
In another words, it rolls down to death. And he's almost helpless. If I don't do it for him, it won't be done. He'd have died long ago if no 1 had taken care of him. Hunger, fall somewhere and leave, imprisonment in a place where there is no escape, etc. Most owners have dogs in this condition "sleeped". I look at him, especially erstwhile he needs something or erstwhile it's time to eat, and I see him looking at me. I know he wants what I can give him due to the fact that he wants to live, so I give it due to the fact that I want him to live, too.
His main and possibly only pleasance is now the fig Newton. He loves these things. I gotta cut them into tiny pieces for him, and he takes them out of my hand with his tongue, 1 small part at a time. After the last piece, he licks my hand hard, which he never did erstwhile he was healthy and abundant. DoO many wolves; he was never a dog that jumps and licks you in the face.
I give this description of his life due to the fact that I read about how Christians should deal with suffering and it immediately struck me that Lobo, although he has no choice, cannot complain due to the fact that there is no way to complain, is inactive a real example of accepting what brings life. If I'm busy with something another than his usual time of care, like feeding, he's just waiting. He can rise his head and follow me with his eyes, which is his only way to remind me that he needs care due to the fact that he has no voice.
Most of us have a voice and may complain and demand, but how much closer to Christ's example if we effort not to. This is all fresh to me due to the fact that I was blessed with good wellness until I was about 80. Like most of us, I took it for granted, but erstwhile the "wonderful hoss shay" started falling apart, it was a shock. I had a part in complaining about the pains of old age and losing my ability to do many things for myself. But possibly this will change now, thanks to Lobo's example, even if he goes away. Christians are called to endure suffering without complaining, as Christ did. It's a good thought for everyone in the planet due to the fact that we all endure at any point in our lives.
I'm learning from old Lobo how suffering should be with us. At first, we both did not like each another very much, but God made us good companions, communicating in a way neither of us can explain.
Because suffering is simply a part of life, I now have before me a constant example of suffering, which is fundamentally described as the way Christ endured it erstwhile he abandoned his earthly life for the good of all. I hope that in the future I will usage both examples.

I spent months and years looking after my animals as they age. I learned about medicine, natural aids, cold laser therapy to ease their pain and improve the time they had left.
My 2 main points are that animals can be highly crucial to people to learn love, loyalty and dependence. Of all things, the drama series I'm watching is actually pouring out a immense fact that has been mostly overlooked. It says that if you care about something, you'll find that you love it and that without it, your life would be empty.
It spoke to me right away. I thought about my small boys that I'm taking care of, I'm giving them medicine, I'm looking for natural herbs and substances for health, I'm massaging their rigid joints, I'm breaking up food into smaller pieces, I'm cleaning it up, I'm doing laser treatments for pain and healing, and I knew it was a large truth, buried in a drama show. It's not usually something you find in a place like this. People love what they care about.
But it's true. You love your animals. But erstwhile they truly request you older, you know. You know they appreciate it. Now they don't head and like erstwhile they are kept for a while; they can remainder on you for a while. The feeling they reciprocate with you increases. They let you know they appreciate what you're doing for them.
And I thought of God.

And I thought of God.
And that was erstwhile I understood him better.
How He views us and Him.
