Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico He expressed hopethat the countries of the Visegrad Group (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) will jointly argue the European Union's Green Communist Emissions Trading strategy Co2. This system, the busy ETS2, is expected to enter into force the following year.
Slovakia asks Poland to aid block the ETS2. Prime Minister Fico has stated that although he has not yet talked to the possible fresh Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babish about this, he is convinced that he will support this solution. According to him, the gathering of the Prime Ministers of Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary in the composition of Fico – Tusk – Babisz – Orban should take place as shortly as possible in order to scope a common opinion on TTS2. The head of the Slovak government explicitly called the EU strategy "harmful stupidity".
According to him, V4 countries were always successful in the EU erstwhile they were together. In this context, he cited an example of the common position of 4 countries on the issue of immigrant quotas and the compulsory admission of refugees invited to Europe in 2015 by Angela Merkel.
The Head of the Slovak Government declared that his country would not participate in any EU programme on the financing of military aid to Ukraine. He recalled that Brussels plans to transfer EUR 140 billion of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine in the coming years, as he described as “the biggest mistake he makes (EU-ed.)’ He reiterated his position that Slovakia would support Ukraine with humanitarian aid, but does not agree to usage Russian frozen funds to lend to Kiev.
This will open a can of pandora, which will consequence in avalanche freezing of accounts by subsequent countries to all those with whom they disagree. In this way, planet order and trust in the banking strategy will be reversed.
The ETS2 is the thought of green communists to extend the EU's CO2 trading strategy to the construction and road transport sectors from 2027. Its aim is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the community, but for households it represents a drastic increase in fuel and heating costs. In turn, the economy will make further cost increases, lower competitiveness and a crisis. The charge is to be added to fossil fuel prices specified as coal, natural gas, diesel, fuel and petrol.
In Poland, ETS2 can bring a price per litre of petrol of PLN 10.
Unfortunately, all indications indicate that Tusk will reject the proposal of joint action V4 against the ETS2. it is very possible that it will reject its participation in the initiative citing its conflict with Victor Orban.
