Sikorski: Poland sees the Palestinian State

dailyblitz.de 2 months ago

Poland will recognise the Palestinian state," said Minister of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski.

Earlier, French president Emmanuel Macron said that France could recognise the State of Palestine in June.

"Poland respects Israel's right to be and the right of the Palestinian people. Poland recognises the Palestinian state – we have an ambassador in Warsaw" - quoted Sikorski's press office of the Ministry of abroad Affairs.

"We support all efforts to halt bloodshed in Gaza", he added.

In late May, it was reported that Norway, Ireland and Spain had recognised Palestine as a state within the limits established in 1967. The Israeli Ministry of abroad Affairs immediately called on the ambassadors of these countries to consult and reprimanded the ambassadors of these European countries in Israel.
