Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) claimed that many higher government officials, including high-ranking Pentagon safety officials, knew about secret UFO disaster recovery program operated by the United States.

Rubio made these claims during an interview for NewsNation On June 26, following allegations by Air Force veteran and erstwhile intelligence officer David Grusch that the Pentagon had discovered dead alien bodies from a crashed spacecraft.

Rubio, vice-president of the legislature Intelligence Commission, stated that respective people have come forward in the last fewer years to share information with the committee on the alleged extraterrestrial recovery programme. He stressed the request to defend these signallers, revealing that any of them hold advanced positions in the government and have advanced safety clearances.

"We effort to gather as much information as possible. any of these people inactive work in the government" - Rubio revealed. He admitted that they were afraid of losing their jobs and severance or being harmed, and so far they hesitated to uncover themselves.

Rubio's statements coincide with the ongoing investigation by the president of the home of Representatives Supervisors James Comer (R-Ky.) on the alleged secret military UFO program. The Commission plans to conduct a proceeding on this substance soon.

The Pentagon contradicts David Grusch's claims about fresh extraterrestrial discoveries

David Grusch, who had previously served at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office, and from 2019 to 2021 was a associate of the Task Force on Unidentified Air phenomena (UAP), claimed to have provided classified information to legislature and Inspector General of the Intelligence Community.

In consequence to Grusch's statements, the Pentagon immediately denied the existence of specified a UFO program. The Department of defence stated that there is no verifiable information that could prove claims of having extraterrestrial materials, both in the past and now. Rubio's comments came after the passing of the legislature Intelligence Commission Act, which proposes suspension of government financing related to unidentified anomalies, unless they are clearly described, explained and justified to the applicable congressional committees.

Legislation besides discourages financing the recovery of unidentified anomalous phenomena of ships or their components. Furthermore, the Act provides protection to persons employed under an agreement with the national Government, ensuring that they will not be exposed to criminal or civilian consequences for disclosure of information related to specified activities.
