For me, as a bisexual person, this is not an abstract legal discussion. It is simply a question of whether you recognise our relationships and whether, in hard times, we can be recognized and seen by you as a family. 
I'm disappointed, but I'm not going to give up. Love doesn't request the President's approval, but it needs legal protection. We will proceed to fight for matrimony equality, for partnerships and for a state where no couple will gotta wonder if their closest individual will be treated as a stranger.
This is not the end of the fight! We're starting her next phase.
