Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 21.04.2025):
- Announced by Vladimir Putin, the Christmas ceasefire was yet accepted by the Ukrainian side. common attacks on land, sea and air ceased. The fighting parties usage this period to strengthen their positions, rise food and supplies.
- The ceasefire does not apply to pre-war Russian territory occupied by Ukrainians, i.e. fragments of Kursk and Bielgorod circuits. The Russians so undertook further attacks on Gornal and around Olesznia.
- On the border of the Sumic region, another prisoner exchange was made. 246 Ukrainians returned to theirs, and so many Russians.
- Germany has announced a fresh aid package for Ukraine. It consists, among others, of the ‘Zuzana’ and MRAP vehicles.
