‘For the law of the Spirit, which gives life in Christ Jesus,
Delivered me from the law of sin and death”
We live in time. By physical death, we enter eternity. The apostle reminds us: “Use your time!” How should we usage it? So that we may walk in faith, that is, in the Spirit of God, and thus abide in Christ. He who abides within himself, that is, in his mind, will and feelings, is under the law of sin. He who is in Christ Jesus is not under the law of sin. The full mystery of winning life is to enter into Christ through religion and to endure in Him in trials. If you lose unity with Christ, you will fall into the law of sin and sin. What do you gotta do? Realize your misery and repent immediately. How? Spiritually stand under the cross of Christ and confess your sin. By believing in the power of Christ’s blood, accept forgiveness. This is the first step. But by that you are not yet in Christ Jesus. You must unite by religion with the crucified Christ in specified a way as to give your will to him. Then the Spirit's law is already in effect. At this point you cannot even sin due to the fact that your will is completely identified with the death of Christ, through whom He has overcome the power of sin in you.
We carry this treasure, which is Christ in us, in earthen vessels. So humility, sensitivity, and caution are needed. There's a fight going on: ‘Let him who thinks he is standing watch that he not fall“ (1 Cor 10:12). Man falls due to the fact that he is deceived by his own corrupt nature, or body, and by the demons and spirit of the world. Why do they deceive him? To lose unity with Christ. We, on the another hand, must constantly keep an eye on the eventual goal of saving our soul. We do not know the day or hr of our death, so we must be constantly ready, as Jesus himself calls us to. Let us not despair about our downfalls and failures, but let us learn the wisdom of life.
Example: A believing female frequently conflicts with her neighbor. She inactive decides she won't argue with her anymore, but there's a full fresh situation and she loses again. She does not want to argue, tries to, head serves God’s law, her conscience tells her that quarrels are wrong. He doesn't want to, but he breaks his resolve all time. Why? due to the fact that the flesh, or ego, serves the law of sin. The first phase of humility is at least admitting to yourself that it is. This is the first step on the way to liberation. What should she do now? In prayer, he must overcome his relation with his neighbour and put his relation with Jesus above individual bitterness. This is where he gets the light. possibly the anger of her neighbour is caused by a long-standing insult she caused her, and she was unaware of it before prayer. possibly she provoked her with her pride and ignorance. So she must know that she is rightly suffering for her sinfulness and that her neighbour is partially right, though not in all way. She must decide that if her neighbour accuses her emotionally and unfairly, she will turn off her ego defence strategy and patiently let herself to be humiliated. At this critical moment, he will effort to be conscious of Jesus' suffering, stay with him, and think of His humiliation and suffering, which she has committed to him with her sins in the past. And the humiliation that her neighbour is inflicting on her will at this point be treated as a righteous purgatory for her past sins. In his head he sees Jesus whipped, with a crown of thorns upon his head, as he spit in his face and mocked him. At the same time, he feels critically that Jesus suffered innocently, but that is not the case. Now he suffers for his past sins. But he combines his pain and humiliation with Jesus' pain. Then he will respond to the words of his neighbour not in defense, nor in self-pity, hatred, and vengeance. If he remains united with Christ, and at the same time humbled towards his neighbor, he will conquer and aid to conquer his neighbour, contributing to building a friendly relationship. Then it won't be hard for her to apologize. This rule is in harmony with the spirit of the Gospel of Christ. Coming out of conflict in this way is already a course in the Spirit of God, and this involves triumph over the law of sin.

Remember that without repentance and prayer even the best counsel of the Holy Fathers and the promises of the Scriptures will be ineffective for you.
