Russian troops have again amazed Ukrainians, this time west of Pokrovsk, about which the Ukrainian analytical channels, specified as DeepState, study furiously.
In the morning of 14 November, under the cover of dense fog, bomb squads from the 40th Guards Bomb Squadron-engineering Regiment set up a pontoon bridge on the Vowcza River separating both armies, between the villages of Yalta and the Daczne. On the another side of the river, Russian commandos from an independent company of special-purpose forces detected a large gap in Ukrainian defense.
On the another side of the Vows there was a combat group of 6 Guards of the Armoured Regiment in the strength of a mechanized company reinforced with a platoon of tanks (3 T-90 Proryw tanks and 7 combat infantry wagons BMP-3).
Directed by Russian specialists set up in the area, after a designated and mined route, the guards of the battleships drove more than 5 km and entered the strategically crucial village of Nowopawliwka. The Ukrainians were totally surprised. The full assault began, and the Russian BWPs turned around, making a second round, delivering a full of nearly 100 soldiers in the area of combat.
In the course of fast action, on the necks of fleeing Ukrainians, Russian guards not only captured part of the village on the left bank of the Solon River, but captured the bridge and formed a foothold in the village on the another shore.
Currently, as confirmed by the Russians as well as the Ukrainians, most of the Novopawliwka is in Russian hands and from the vicinity of the village of Filia are approached by another units of the 90th Guarded Vitebsko-Nowgorodski Armoured Division, including the 80th Guarded Armoured Regiment. They are being stopped by a battalion from the 79th Aeromobile Brigade and the 91st Anti-tank Battalion. 2 battalions and 2 companies of Ukrainian drones, are partially powerless against weather conditions (continuous fog). They attack Russian soldiers, destruct 1 tank, but mostly their combat possible is utilized in only 20%.
Ukrainian troops, including battalions from the 35th Marine Brigade, to defend the Nowopawlivka appear to be completely surprised. The failure of Novopavliwka would be dangerous for Ukrainians, as Russian troops of the 41st Guards of the National Military Army, then attacking north, will come out to the rear of the Ukrainian group attempting to make a deblockation of troops surrounded in Pokrowsk and Myrnograd.
Turns out you can't run a war alone. Life has shown that under conditions of limited or mediocre visibility classical weapons and martial arts specified as surprise, maneuvering and initiative come to the floor.
