Poland needs a long-term, liable and safe migration policy that takes account of fresh challenges and threats, but besides takes care of human rights. We do not agree to restrict the right to asylum, including Article 56 of the Polish Constitution.
The problem of migration in Poland is not asylum seekers – last year only 9,000 applications were received, half of which were rejected. The conclusions came mainly from citizens of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The real problem is people who illegally enter Poland and then effort to get asylum in another countries, and those who extort visas, for example under the pretext of studying. It is essential to seal the visa strategy and to fight corruption effectively, especially in the face of the visa scandal at the Ministry of abroad Affairs. Consulates and embassies must be the place to verify visa applications, as the Netherlands does.
In the substance of household reunification, relationships or marriages should be concluded before coming to Poland to avoid the problems that France has encountered. besides crucial are the rules concerning the repatriation of diaspora or polonia, e.g. 4–5 generations from Kazakhstan, which are frequently influenced by pro-Russian views. The policy of the USSR, conducted for many years, effectively nationalized this group. An example is Israel, who implements the policy of allia – the right to return – but faces the challenges of integrating people from Russia who refuse to learn Hebrew.
The safety of Poland and the protection of Polish borders must be a priority, but not at the expense of denying the protection of human rights and the Constitution.
