Reduction ad minimum

We already know the result of the first circular of presidential elections. I could have entitled my reflections after specified results "No change – an anti-system illusion", but it would only be a criticism of what is around, and criticisms are subjected to it cyclically and permanently.

So why reduce the ad minimum and what is the minimum? There is no uncertainty that the cast of the position of the president of the Republic of Poland will settle in the 2nd circular of elections between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki on 1 June. Thus, the duopol deciding on Poland from 2005 will continue. We'll inactive have a festival of russophobia, throwing accusations at ourselves about who's the Kremlin agent or who's more anti-Russian. There will be seeking patrons abroad and prostrate themselves to the president of the United States or to the European Union. There will be support for Ukraine, support for war, and direct participation in this war will depend on decisions of abroad factors.

Well, that's the minimum. In spite of appearances, it is very important. We have already experienced the full power of the Civic Platform in 2010-2014 and of the Law and Justice in 2015-2023. The full power in this case means that 1 organization has the position of president and president of the Council of Ministers, the majority in the parliament (and the Senate, at least due to the limited powers of the advanced Chamber), the anticipation of forming judicial power and having public media in its hands. In another aspect, this means unlimited access to state funds, allowing private entities to be created at different levels of public activity, not to mention networks of private links. In particular, this second period was an example of the highly negative effects of the full power of 1 formation over Poland. At the same time, a characteristic typical of a primitive state (it could be said in the achievements, however, if this milder word to Poland did not simply stop) in which the fighting forces respect the structures of the state as worthy of respect only if they have them in their own hands (at the same time the opposition considers specified a country to be "not its own", a dictatorship, or an autocracy), while the constitution is mostly broken and treated purely instrumentally.

The return of the Civic Platform to power in 2023 and its practice to this day revealed precisely the same phenomena on the side of the Donald Tusk party. The proposal before the second circular of elections is so unambiguous. For people who not only do not support any of these cateries, and even feel open disgust for them, there remains an thought choice, i.e. to stay at home or to vote invalid or to choose a lesser evil in the form of a vote against Rafał Trzaskowski, so that the Civic Platform does not take full power, without any uncertainty it will be a greater evil. I myself belong to people whose power of all kind of POPIS is disgusting. However, I am very serious about the "support" (councils, as this is negative support against the another candidate) of the lesser evil. I do not encourage you to do this – each of you will make a decision on this substance in my own conscience – I show only possible, very negative consequences.

Finally, a word of comment on the most crucial decisions of these elections.

I consider the support for Trzaskowski, and so PO to be inactive very advanced for over a year and a half of the disastrous regulation of this party, although of course the balloon of media support for the president of Warsaw was artificially inflated more and here it may seem disappointing. Trzaskowski has late rapidly descended from progressive postulates, while before circular II he will gotta apply for pseudo-left voices, which is nothing more than “copy-paste” of the western, degenerate liberal left.

Nawrocki achieved a very good consequence as on the scale of the negative run conducted by the media alleged public (captured by the PO) and others supporting his opponent. The conviction of Mentzen, Braun and a tiny group of undecided candidates remains to become the favourite of the second round. We will undoubtedly face a strong polarisation and propaganda fight by “two Poland”.

Mentzen achieved an excellent result, despite the smallness of the program and the departure of Grzegorz Braun. For the Confederacy, it's a large consequence and a future forecast. What about the second round? surely Mentzen will support Nawrocki, the question is whether his voters will support Nawrocki, not e.g. stay home.

Braun can besides talk about an excellent result. However, the dissident of the Confederacy was able to gain subjectivity. And while the anti-system camp, as greatly overestimated, remained an illusion, Braun's consequence is simply a confirmation of the right course for him. It besides depends on its voters whether Poland will have a monopower of the PO or little evil. From my point of view, the perfect eclecticism of Grzegorz Braun, the mention to the romanticist imagination of the past of Poland, quasi-religious mysticism or the grotesque anti-communism revealed at the end of the campaign, do not inspire optimism – to put it mildly.

It draws attention to Holowna's defeat, which in erstwhile elections gained as many as 13.87% of the vote and now only five. This may be the beginning of the end of his formation, as well as the beginning of the turmoil in the coalition, on the part of the Polish People's Party, although I do not anticipate a revolution here considering the behaviour of the PSL, to which we have been accustomed since 1989.

Finally the neo-left. 5 years ago Robert Biedron only obtained 2.22% of the vote. Now 3 candidates (Zandberg, Biejat and Senyszyn, which I am counting a bit by force here), gained 10.1% of the vote. This is simply a success despite the perfect poorness and secondaryity of the phenomena taking place on the left in the West, although, of course, 1 candidate would not have achieved specified a good result.

The proposal before the second circular I presented to you above – so I will remind you – is simply a decision to choose a lesser evil, the alternate of which is the mono-power of Donald Tusk's party.
