Radom opens the City Labour Office. It will be adjacent to the Regional Labour Office

Radom announced the establishment of the Municipal Labour Office (MUP). It is to be located at 75A Żeromskiego Street and to start operating from January 2026. The problem is that the Regional Labour Office (PUP) is already operating next door. The institutions are presently fighting to take over or hold all more experienced workers.

Radom opens the City Labour Office. presently there are over 8,000 unemployed registered in the city. The PUP that has been operating there for tens of years is financed in 60%. This is about PLN 14 million a year. However, the city is very rich, so a fresh office is being created next to the PUP, to deal with the same – occupation activation of the unemployed. According to the city authorities, the investment is to bring savings of PLN 2 million per year. How? I don't know.

– Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, issued the agreement to make a MUP in Radom –reported inactive in August, the president of the city, Radosław Witkowski from the Civic Platform.

The City Labour Office is intended for the residents of Radom. presently there are somewhat more than 8,000 unemployed registered in the Regional Labour Office. The city estimates that MUP services will benefit from between 2200 and 2600 employers per year from both the private and public sectors.

A 100 people are planned to be employed in the fresh MUP. In total, together with PUP, there will be about 250 officials looking for a occupation for Poles. But how can we get so many people to the fresh institution?

– First of all, they will be experienced employees of the Regional Labour Office in Radom, who will express their desire to decision to the recently created Municipal Labour Office. We want to preserve and exploit the knowledge, competence and long-term experience of staff who know the local labour marketplace and the needs of residents said Vice president Marta Michalska – Wilk.

However, it did not explain how the savings of PLN 2 million per year are to be achieved, since only additional employment of 100 people will cost about that much. There will be at least a charge for electricity and heating of office spaces.

OUR COMMENTS: Etats for officials will surely not be missing. The answer to the question of whether the MUP will organise the work is so positive. In the end, who forbids the rich?
