Today I present another associate of the technological Council of the Polish thought Club.
Dr. Tadeusz Samborski – defender of the Polish Borderlands, perfect populist, longtime MP for the Sejm, diplomat and journalist.
After being displaced from the East Borders, he lived with his household in Rogowie Legnicki. In 1969 he graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the Higher Pedagogical School in Gdańsk. In 1977, he obtained a Ph.D. in past from Moscow University in the Slavic past Cathedral. From 1978 to 1983 he worked in Polish diplomacy, among others, in Vietnam, Laos.
From 1996 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2004 he was president of the “Help to Poles in the East” Foundation. He took up the position of president of the National Council of the Polish Regional Associations Movement. Founder of the Cultural Association “Landscapes”, which deals, among others, with contacts with Poles surviving in the east Borders. He was a associate of the board of the Polish-East Cooperation Association. For decades he struggles for memory of Poles murdered by Ukrainians from 1939 to 1947. For many years, the writer “Polish Thought”.
Awarded with the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Silver Medal of “The Honourable Culture of Gloria Artis”.
