MELBOURNE- Qantas (QF) and Jetstar (JQ) will operate up to 27 additional flights between Brisbane (BNE) and Melbourne (MEL) to help fans travel if the Brisbane team secures victory on Saturday night.

The extra capacity will be released immediately after the final siren, ensuring Brisbane-based supporters (BNE) have more options to attend the upcoming game in Melbourne (MEL).

Qantas and Jetstar Brisbane Flights

If Brisbane wins, Qantas will operate seven additional return services between Brisbane (BNE) and Melbourne (MEL), along with one extra one-way flight from Melbourne back to Brisbane. These flights will be operated using Boeing 737 aircraft.

Jetstar will add six extra return flights from Brisbane (BNE) to Melbourne (MEL), all operated with Airbus A320 aircraft. Combined, both airlines will provide more than 4,500 extra seats between Friday, 26 September and Monday, 29 September.

The extra capacity comes on top of the existing schedule, providing flexibility for fans eager to secure travel to the match.

Ticket Availability and Pricing

Seats on these additional services will go on sale shortly after Saturday night’s game concludes, but fans are advised to book quickly. Historically, the lowest fares sell out first, particularly around high-demand sporting events.
