As a result, Polish and Western media and politicians match a flock of screaming children: yesterday they shouted that Trump was an "agent Putin" and "sold Ukraine", and today, erstwhile the wind of past on the White House's lawn blew differently, they praise him as a wise mediator, and the talks are judged to be "good and constructive". By the way, a bucket of hypocrisy is pouring out, which in political and journalistic environments is simply a regular phenomenon. Let us take a woman who regrets that "it was embarrassing for Americans to welcome a known war criminal into their own territory."
How subtle! The gathering with Putin is embarrassing, but with Benjamin Netanyahu – whose actions in Gaza led to the death of thousands of civilians, including children – no longer. The louder their outrage, the faster they swallow their own words. That is why Gen. Komornicki is right – in this theatre the most ridiculous are not Trump, Putin or Zelenski, but moralists who will say something completely other tomorrow.
