I simply lie about Ukraine's resolution in the European Parliament!
The resolution was not taken on the freezing of Russian capital (as falsely stated by left-wing politicians and many media), only on the decision to transfer profits from previously taken capital! The vote afraid the transfer of interest on frozen capital to establish a debt cooperation mechanics for Ukraine!
So what was the NO vote?
■ freezing of Russian assets
■ Passing anything to mediocre children or victims of war
■ giving anything to the Russians
■ the transportation of humanitarian aid to Ukraine
■ providing military assistance to Ukraine
For whom was it beneficial?
■ for Ukrainian debt creditors – bankers who will cut coupons off from another Ukrainian debt instrument
■ for a narrow group of Ukrainian power elites – they will decide for themselves what to usage further debts; they are the oligarchs of a country devoured by corruption, which, before the war and during the war, frequently ignored the reasonable spending of money on victims of war.

In the meantime, Poland, likewise to respective another countries in the region, has suffered tremendous costs of war, in peculiar the acceptance of refugees, additional border protection costs and energy marketplace disruption costs. The interest on frozen Russian capital should be transferred to the associate States of the European Union, which have borne the costs of Russia's aggression and bear the costs of the action taken in this case, including the seizure of Russian assets and the assistance provided to Ukraine.
I represent in the European Parliament the interests of Poland – the country from which I was elected MP. Therefore, I request that fresh funds be transferred to Poland, not to 3rd countries!
Moreover, Ukraine has repeatedly shown ingratitude towards Poland and has not respected the costs incurred in connection with the assistance of our Homeland. In exchange for massive military, financial and social assistance, we received nothing, not even consent to exhumation of the victims of genocide in Volyn. In fresh days it turned out that Poland is not even invited to talk about the situation in Ukraine. In this situation, the transfer of funds to further debts of Ukraine, alternatively of Poland, is simply a bad solution!
Politics requires a rational, emotionless approach, based on the ability to look to the future and anticipate the long-term consequences of the actions taken. I urge little utmost populism and manipulation, and more common sense reasoning and responsibility. That's the kind of politician I am!
