President Andrzej Duda continues his visit to East Africa. After meetings in Kenya's capital, he went to Kigali for talks with Rwandan Republic president Paul Kagame. Duda besides participated in the Polish-Rwandian circular economical Table.
The main agenda for talks between heads of state was to strengthen economical relations between countries, the global effects of Russian aggression on Ukraine, defence cooperation and education. Andrzej Duda stressed during the gathering with media representatives that today's visit is peculiar due to the fact that it is the first authoritative visit of the Polish president to Rwanda in 62 years, i.e. since diplomatic relations with this country were established. The Polish leader thanked president Paul Kagame for intensifying Polish-Randish relations over fresh years. He added that "this is the beginning of the embassy in Warsaw, the acceptance of the first Polish entrepreneurs, meetings with the Minister of abroad Affairs of Rwanda Mr Vincent Birut in Poland".

He informed that present there will be another gathering of Polish and Rwandan entrepreneurs who will discuss common relations, joint ventures and opportunities for business development. Andrzej Duda emphasized that Poles are a hardworking nation who understands the value of their work and knows that this can accomplish a lot. He pointed out that “independence and sovereignty are not given to us erstwhile and for all, for 200 years we have lost it, and not once.”

Participation of Andrzej Duda in the “Polish-Rwandy circular economical Table”
During the “Polish-Rwandy circular economical Table”, Andrzej Duda stated that the African country enjoyed the increasing interest of our entrepreneurs, taking into account the stableness and large possible of the local market. The head of state pointed out that Rwanda is becoming an increasingly attractive economical partner for Poland. Among the peculiarly promising sectors of cooperation, he mentioned: technologies supporting agricultural efficiency, information and communication technologies, drones and cybersecurity. The president estimated that Rwanda offers so much stability, security, advanced quality management, excellent investment conditions, and besides abundance of natural resources and many busy, ambitious people.
I would like to emphasise that the Polish technological and technological offer for Rwanda is based on the rule of partnership – emphasised Andrzej Duda, adding that he assumes projects in cooperation with local communities and utilizing local resources - Andrzej Duda.
He pointed out that this was the case with Huta Cyna in Kigala – the largest Polish and at the same time EU investment in Rwanda. Andrzej Duda pointed out the unprecedented improvement of bilateral relations between Poland and Rwanda.
