With the upcoming presidential elections, more and more attention is paid to the backing of electoral campaigns. According to the Electoral Code, only Polish citizens residing in Poland can contribute to the election campaign. The maximum amount of payment per individual is 15 times the minimum wage for work, i.e. PLN 69,990.

Among the candidates who received the highest support from donors are Rafał Trzaskowski (KO) and Karol Nawrocki (PiS). For the Trzaskowski campaign, 221 contributions were made, with a maximum of PLN 69,990 supported by Marcin Iwiński and Adam Kiciński. On the another hand, 356 contributions were made to the Nawrocki campaign, with the maximum amount of PLN 69,990 transferred by Grzegorz Kuchnicki and Wojciech Kowalczyk.

The donors besides included persons associated with the pharmaceutical manufacture and real property businessmen. 61 people made contributions to the run of Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation) over the limit, including 3 who supported it with a maximum amount of PLN 69,990. These were Maciej Ślusarczyk, Rafał Zieliński and Paweł Rachwalski, presidents and vice presidents of the Management Board of Sikorki 19 and Sikorki 21 companies.
