The Vatican press office reported the death of Pope Francis. The Holy Father left this morning.

On April 21, on Easter Monday at 7:35, Pope Francis died. The death of St Peter's successor was preceded by a longer episode of the disease. After a period of hospitalization at Gemellia, however, the saint's father seemed on his way to recovery.

The news of the Pope's death came unexpectedly, among the information about his improving health.
