Over a 1000 left university diplomas in abroad hands!

Officers of the Border defender from Rzeszów-Jasionka broke up a criminal group dealing with the issue of fictional papers for foreigners. People of Poland and Ukraine have heard allegations about this. According to investigators, criminals have issued over a 1000 false admission certificates.

According to the Border Guard, the group operated under the cover of private universities. She faked documentation that allowed foreigners to enter the European Union illegally and legalize their stay in Poland.

Universities, despite deficiency of required accreditation, exhibited certificates of admission to survey for citizens of Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, among others.

Based on the evidence collected 12 people heard the charges. – citizens of Poland and Ukraine. The main organiser was temporarily arrested, and preventive measures of a free nature were applied to the others. The Border defender besides secured the assets of suspects against future penalties.

Investigative findings show that any Ukrainian citizens utilized false college certificates to circumvent pandemic restrictions or leave the country after the war broke out. Others utilized fictitious postgraduate diplomas as evidence of cognition of Polish, allowing them to apply for citizenship or long-term residence.

The Border defender stresses that the case is developmental and investigators do not exclude further detentions.
