Presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia met on 21 September in fresh York City to discuss regional safety and support for Ukraine. A day later, Gitanas Nausėda estimated in the UN that Russia had already lost the war. For Poland this means a chance to build a stronger block of the east flank of NATO.

Karol Nawrocki met in fresh York City with Lithuanian president Gitanas Nausėda, Estonian president Alar Karis and Latvian president Edgars Rinkēvičs. The talks were held on the evening of 21 September, at the margins of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The President's Office confirmed the composition of the gathering and its regional character.
Leaders discussed the safety of Central, North and east Europe. The agenda besides includes support for Ukraine, the UN case and the election of the future Secretary-General of the Organization.
