Prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek is the subject of criticism from the Law and Justice Office, as well as any publicists who accuse her, among others, of political commitment and critical attitude towards changes in the justice strategy during the regulation of the United Right. Prime Minister Tusk wrote on the X platform that "commentators who believe that the fight for the independency of the prosecutor disqualifies Mrs. Herzosek as 'politically involved', impressed with restraint erstwhile he appointed radically neutral professionals to the Presidents of the courts, tribunals, banks, media and prosecutors of the PiS".

The answer appeared on the profile of Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of the PiS. "There is no point in ruining Sundays and dealing with the entries of a well-known person. There will come a time for justice and a time for punishment" – we read. The Prime Minister's entry triggered an avalanche of comments, and respondents spared no criticism.

Dagmara Pawełczyk-Woicka, justice and president of the National Judicial Council, wrote: “Does not the Prime Minister separate between appointments and conduct of circumstantial proceedings in which neutrality towards the parties is required? Mrs. Herzosek's relation with the party's attorneys: Mr. Giertych and Mr. Dubois are in everyone's eye. Mrs. Herzosek's connections to the current ruling organization are public. The case concerns the head of the opposition party.’

Konrad Berkovich of the Confederacy besides felt a work to reprimand the Prime Minister. “But in that case, the full argument comes down to a difference in the level of scum, since the only argument you can make is that they did the same or worse. And I remind you, we promised to be fresh quality.”

Anna-Maria Żukowska from the Left besides spoke. "But the Prime Minister reached the head of the NRA! (Chief of the Bar – ed.) surely you will not accuse him of 'impression with restraint' during the times of the Law and Justice? Mec. Rosati proposes a normality alternatively of a hammer. It would be worth taking this suggestion," she wrote in Tusk's reply.

Journalists besides commented on the Prime Minister's entry. "The evil and immature entry of the Prime Minister at very many levels. It is adequate to say that a full bunch of people constantly pointing out to PiS are saying that assigning this case to Mrs. Wrzosek was asking for trouble," wrote Maciej Bąk from Radio Zet. "Donald Tusk does not deny that Prosecutor Wrzosek is politically involved," commented Joanna Miziołek of Newsweek.

According to the Central Statistical Office, in 2022 there were over 12 1000 prosecutors in Poland, and 67% of them were women. Ewa Wrzosek is 1 of them, and her case is frequently cited as an example of political games in the Polish judiciary.

Poland is simply a country where justice is frequently the subject of political discussion. According to the polls, over 60% of Poles believe that the judiciary is besides active with politics. Tusk and PiS are the 2 largest political parties in the country, and their disputes are frequently the subject of the media.

In 2022, Poland ranked 34th in the corruption perception rate ranking, developed by Transparency International. In this ranking, Poland lost to countries specified as Denmark, Finland and Sweden that ranked 1, 2 and 3 respectively.

The entry of Prime Minister Tusk is so part of a wider discussion on the justice strategy in Poland. Is Ewa Wrzosek truly politically involved, or is it just a political attack? Ultimately, the courts and prosecutors will gotta decide whether Tusk and PiS are right or not.
