Member of the European Parliament Anna Bryłka on the 7th Day of Week programme at Radio Zet.
– I'm afraid the exhumations will end as always, unfortunately, I have specified an assumption. As far as the Polish side is concerned, it should have full supervision of the work carried out. I do not trust this Ukrainian side in any way, but it is irresponsible to say that the only condition which Poland places erstwhile it comes to Ukraine's membership of the European Union or NATO is to clarify historical issues. ...
I do not mean even agricultural policy, that is, Poland has no interest in Ukraine entering the European Union. We have so many diverging interests. The agricultural marketplace is 1 of the many areas where we have diverging interests. Transport market, imports of energy-intensive goods that are pushed outside the European Union. Ukraine now has a mostly better position than European Union associate States with full access to the Community market. So the agricultural marketplace is simply a immense challenge, and in public debate at all we do not discuss that we have completely divergent interests and there is no thought how to solve it! ...
On the agricultural marketplace for example Ukraine is over 40 million agricultural land, of which about 30 million are arable land, half of which are black land - and these 30 million are 1 4th of the arable land of the full European Union! And the government adopts a resolution on Mercosur, on food security, on imports from South America – and there is no same resolution from Ukraine, where it is the same threat that is already in the 3rd season!
