Poland inactive seems to care more about the Ukrainian economy than about its own. The Ukrainians are taking advantage of this by pouring us with food of rotten quality, which is not adequate to break our interior marketplace in price, but is inactive a serious threat to the wellness of Poles. We all remember the rotten “technical grain” from last year, where even pieces of plastic were found.

This year the Ukrainians rescued us with moldy frozen raspberries. 20 tons of specified goods were retained last week by the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection. 2 weeks ago, 42 tons of moldy raspberries were detained, of unnatural color. By mass import of frozen raspberries from Ukraine, their price decreased in August even to PLN 6.50/kg, making Polish crops unprofitable.

So far, Polish farmers who request the Ministry of Agriculture and agrarian improvement to halt deliveries from Ukraine stay unanswered. Apparently, the government did not learn from last year’s agricultural protests.
