Press spokesperson of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Łódź, prosecutor Krzysztof Bukowicki, confirmed these reports.
– We just found out. We are waiting for the materials and after receiving them, further decisions will be made – he said.
In the period of March, in the context of an investigation into the usage of funds from the Justice Fund, the interior safety Agency (ABW), acting under the orders of prosecutors, carried out a number of search and arrest operations. During the search of the erstwhile Minister of Justice's apartment, an first file was found containing documentation related to the preparatory proceedings concerning the death of Zbigniew Ziobra's father.
Attorney Przemysław Rosati pointed out that papers specified as case files or the alleged handwritten prosecutor's file should be kept at the D.A.'s office. He pointed out that these are authoritative papers that belong to the state institution, which is the prosecution. – According to Article 276 of the Criminal Code, who inter alia hides or removes a paper which is not only entitled to order commits a crime – said PAP president of the Chief Bar Council.
– The papers in question are papers of this kind that we can say with all conviction that Minister Ziobro had no right to order them onlyHe besides had no right to take them and have them after the day he ceased to be lawyer General. The Prosecutor's Office will gotta examine whether the papers were there and remained there for a long time, i.e. since the conclusion of the lawyer General, Minister of Justice for the performance of this office, which occurred in late November erstwhile the Minister of Justice in the Second Morawiecki Government became Marcin Warchoł, is the basis for accepting that this has been hidden within the meaning of the said article of the Criminal Code explained Rosati.
