The scandal surrounding the statements of the United States Ambassador to Warsaw associated with his furious attacks on the talker of the Sejm (for questioning Donald Trump's qualifications to receive the Nobel Peace Prize) and the Prime Minister (for the fact that the Marshal of the Sejm dared to defend) is the kind of crisis that actually creates an opportunity.
It frequently happens that something that is at first glance a large problem opens up fresh opportunities for us. Yes, it is this time. Polish politics of subservience and blind view in Washington already have specified a long past and it seems to be so natural and apparent that we do not imagine another, healthier arrangement. For decades our country has ruled, they have expressed their will to submit in all possible way. The most crucial pastry in front of the Washington curators was those who spoke loudly about the necessity to get up from their knees. And they do it to this day, completely without knowing or wanting to realize the changing global reality.
Thomas Rose’s statements are so brutal, abroad and unequivocal that they cannot be missed. A separate case is their motivation. any believe that Rose is deliberately preparing the ground for the withdrawal of Americans from our part of Europe. They claim that the ambassador's statements are part of a thoughtful strategy, part of a plan to justify a geopolitical reiterade from Central Europe. However, it seems that they value Poland besides much from the point of view of American politics. Americans do not request any pretexts or political justifications to abandon our region. If they conclude that specified withdrawal from Poland is in their interests, they will simply do so without any peculiar translation or explanation of the reasons for the decision. A number of positions in the U.S. administration cast with approval or countersignature of the notorious Deep state. However, specified positions do not include the office of ambassador in a medium-sized Central European country. Thomas Rose came to Warsaw not due to the fact that he was sent here by the powerful hidden structures of the American ruling class. He took the position due to the fact that Donald Trump wanted him to. knowing this and not being a diplomat in the least, he decided to make a primitive suck-up to his principle. usually in the world, he realizes that Trump's infantile ego needs specified gestures. This is neither a strategy nor a profoundly thought-out plan.
For Poland, the chance after Rose’s statements is that, according to the first emerging studies, we can see a clear public outrage in the behaviour of the "priest" of Washington. The Ambassador of the United States violated the dignity structures of the Polish mentality, whose disintegration causes unequivocal aversion. Liberal Atlanticists will invariably effort to direct this aversion towards Donald Trump's administration, indicating that Trumpism is simply a phenomenon in transition America, and after his resignation everything will return to an idyllic norm. This is not the case. Washington Trump has entered a way from which the United States will never return. A way on which no 1 hides that Europe is simply a semi-peripheral area, but possibly hostile to American interests, or actually having separate interests.
Thomas Rose threatened to retreat Polish troops from our country. 1 can only hope that specified withdrawal will indeed take place. Just as 1 might think about reducing Poland's dependence on American gas and withdrawing from preferences towards American corporations, which have so far shaped Polish laws according to their own interests (the cases of Discovery and Ubera are only the tip of the iceberg). The outrage caused by Rose’s words can thus add a bit of courage to the Polish political class, causing her to think about somewhat different, more balanced alliances than the arrangement of a humble submission to Washington. Unless the blind Atlanticism of its representatives will make them pretend one more time that nothing happened or enjoy more spitting in the face, the aim of which has been the most yielding to the outside formation in our country – the Law and Justice. But there was a shadow of hope, though very weak.
