Officers from the police station in Wojkowice (Silesian Province) Stop 33-year-old alleged "war refugee" from Ukraine, who refused to submit to control. As it turned out, he was completely drunk, and it wasn't the first time he lost his driver's licence for drinking in his country.
A drunk Ukrainian was moving from the police. The incidental occurred in Sączów, on the street of King Bolesław Chrobry. The interest of the officers from Wojkowice aroused the behaviour of the man driving the Volkswagen Golf car. As they moved towards the parked car, the man behind the wheel turned on the engine and started running. Uniforms rapidly jumped into a police car and tried to halt the vehicle, which had already succeeded after respective 100 metres.
When the police opened the door of the stopped vehicle, they felt a very strong odor of alcohol from the driver. As it turned out, a future fugitive is simply a displaced Ukrainian citizen and is 33 years old. He translated his conduct and escaped “with fear of criminal consequences”. He besides explained that he did not have a driver's licence due to the fact that he lost it in Ukraine – it was for driving vehicles in a state of inebriation.
The survey showed that there were nearly 2 promes of alcohol in the detained blood. Driving in an intoxicated state is punishable by a word of imprisonment of up to 3 years, but as the offender has already had his rights revoked for the same crime, he is facing a word of imprisonment of up to 5 years. In addition, he will not be able to recover his driving licence for at least 3 years after his release and will pay a fine to the Fund for Harmful Aid of PLN 5 000 to PLN 60 000.
OUR COMMENTS: This is not the first specified situation erstwhile it turns out that the primary request for “war refugees” is drinking alcohol and getting behind the wheel. Let us compare these behaviours with real refugees, for example from Gaza.
