This year's defilada of the Armed Forces of Poland amazed with a scale not seen in Poland since 2018, erstwhile we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Poland's regaining independence. In the following year, the defilada moved from Warsaw to Katowice to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Silesian Uprisings was already incomparably smaller due to logistical difficulties and the immense cost of bringing WP units to Silesia. Later on, there were years of epidemics and lockdowns, erstwhile no defilades were organized at all, and then at our east borders a war broke out, in which Poland became importantly involved, passing on hundreds of tanks and combat vehicles to Ukraine. As a result, the parade organized for the celebration of the Polish Army lost its importance completely, due to the fact that there was truly nothing to show.
The situation has changed dramatically this year, as our country has already reached the first batches of military quotas ordered abroad, so that this time in Warsaw we could admire, among others, K2 Black Panther tanks, M1A1 Abrams, HIMARS rocket launchers, PATRIOT air defence kits, Haubice K9 Thunder, as well as the latest home production vehicles specified as tick reconnaissance vehicle, Borsuk combat infantry car, Żmija light reconnaissance vehicle, BAOBAB-K miner, or well known for its service in the Polish Army Rosomaki, Kraby, Cancer and many another vehicles.
After Warsaw's Wisłostrad, more than 2500 soldiers marched from 56 banners from Poland and allied countries, i.e. the USA, large Britain and Romania, as well as the NATO and Eurocorpus Force Training Centre.
