P. Krzemiński: Saint Andrew Bobola – a large sign of opposition to ecumenism

Our thoughts are most appealing to those who in the Polish part of life rush. Since Andrzej Bobola came out of their nation and their land not only with the radiance of many virtues, but besides with the blood of martyrdom, he is simply a wonderful ornament and a glory to them. So let them, following his shining example, proceed to defend their own religion against all dangers, let them effort to conform their customs to Christian standards, let them have a strong conviction for the top glory of their homeland, if by the relentless imitation of the unwavering virtue of their ancestors they accomplish that Poland should always be faithful to the “front of Christianity”. It seems to indicate “history, [...] as a witness of the times, a light of fact [...] and a teacher of life” that God intended this function for the Polish people. Therefore, let the courageous and solid heart strive to fulfill this role, avoiding enemy deceptions and fighting with grace God’s All Adversities and Trials – Pius XII, Invicti Athletic Christi.

St. Andrew Bobola Orthodox Cossacks: Burned fire, stuck splinters in nails, peeled skin. Moreover, they cut out the ornate on his back, pierced his tender organs, and yet murdered him with a blow of the sabers. Despite all the unimaginable torments, Andrzej Bobola repeated during torture: “My religion leads to salvation. Repent.” He gave his life to show that only in the Catholic Church can 1 gain salvation, to the last breath he tried to convert the Orthodox and gave them the impression that their religion was false. Those who present claim that Orthodox people are in the same church as Catholics, to the point that as Fotius rejects an article of Catholic credo containing Filioque, they learned nothing from the life of Saint Andrew Bobola.

St. To this day, Bobola has been attacked by Orthodox theologians, and even by Catholic ecumenism supporters for being a “bone of discord” towards reconciliation of Orthodoxy with Catholicism. His martyrdom and life are mentioned, but he ignores the main intent of this large saint, and specified was conversion to the Catholic faith. It is not in the taste of today's summertime Catholics who profess spiritual indifference, which was branded by Pope Pius XII in an encyclical dedicated to St Andrew Bobola.

An effort to falsify this character is seen in the change that was made in Litania to Saint Andrew Bobola. The first text contained specified a call: “St. Andrew, a vessel chosen by God to convert the castaways”, which was changed to the ecumenical phrase “St. Andrew, martyr for the unity of Christians” – (the texts of both litany are available on https://adonai.pl/pray/?id=43).

For Saint Andrew Bobola, the words: Catholics – Christians are synonymous, the Church is One, as Credo teaches us. The call for the unity of Christians above divisions, above creed, above serious theological differences (see Filioque) is simply a complete deficiency of respect for the Passion of the Patron of Poland. Anyone who, although briefly, learns about Bobola's biography will immediately sense the false ecumenism understood as fraternizing over doctrinal differences.

As Pope Pius XI instructed: And he, whom the “soul hunter” is rightly called, Andrew Bobola, the priest of the Society of Jesus, teaches us to work zealously to grow the Kingdom of God, and, as a steadfast martyr, leads to the valor of the men of our time, to take all the problem for God and the Church according to the rule of “magna facere et perpeti christianum est”. Conquered in Johnov by the Cossacks for rejecting the errors of schismatists and preaching with large benefit to the Catholic faith, instigated with whips, like Jesus Christ crowned with a sharp crown, severely slapped, lay wounded with a saber. shortly his right eye was torn out, his skin was removed from various parts of his body, and he began to burn his wounds cruelly and rub them with harsh gusts. Not adequate on this; his ears, nose and lips were cut off, his tongue was stretched out at the back of his head, and he was yet stabbed in the heart. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the brave swordsman of Christ, pierced with a saber, gained a wreath of martyrdom, giving an admirable sight of valor. (Pius XI homily of the Holy Father for the Canonization of St. Andrew Bobola (AAS No. 6 of 10 May 1938)

The politician of Christ on earth, Peter's successor – Pius XI correctly identified the causes of the death of Andrzej Bobola. He died due to the fact that he “rejected the errors of schismatists.” All he had to do was deny the Catholic religion and save his life. He did not do so, while today’s ecumenists deny religion even without any threat to life or health.

St.Andrew Bobolo defend Poland from: schism, detachment, heresy and those hierarchs of the Church who no longer profess the One, Holy, Universal and Apostolic religion of the Catholic Church. Amen.
