Jean Ousset was a French publicist and right-wing activist Action française, to whichBut he never did. His counter-revolutionary thought reflected a wide echo in the dynamically changing 20th century. Unfortunately, present his character is small known.
Ousset was the author of an highly insightful analysis of Marxism, which he concluded in his 1970s work Marxism and the Revolution. It showed that conventional dialectical materialism had developed into a rejection of any convention at all. The revolution itself became the sole purpose. That is why it is so hard to grasp the concrete post-Markist demands, due to the fact that they truly do not represent any systematic doctrine. This does not change the fact that they are heirs to subversive thoughts that triumphed in the West in 1968.
The French thinker thoroughly explained that there is nothing permanent for revolutionaries. They are based solely on action and corruption, what they have found. They don't follow any doctrinal course. This is the exact other of Catholicism, whose principles are clear and widely known. Unfortunately, the Marxist mentality has reached the Church, which is expressed by “synodity”. This does not change the fact that for Ousset the only remedy for the revolution virus is Catholicism and surely its assessment remains valid.
Jean Ousset outside Marxism and the Revolution He wrote a monumental work That He may reign! concerning the social reign of Christ-King. Unfortunately, it provoked opposition to the liberal French episcopate, from which only Archbishop Lefebvre and 1 bishop, who openly supported Ousset's work, broke out. Interestingly, this happened before the council revolution, due to the fact that in 1949, erstwhile the book was published. Even then, the vast majority of the French hierarchy did not want Christ to reign in society!
Another crucial item of his published in Polish is Action written before the events of the 1960s, which mostly plunged dreams of a conservative counter-revolution in France. This is simply a textbook for conservatives, with tips on how to organize and act. Unlike many liberal activists, for Ousset there was not the most crucial action in itself, but you are increasing in virtues, by performing state duties towards the Church, household and homeland.
Action Jean Ousset is simply a circumstantial example of tactics for conservatives. In the case of revolutionaries, it's simple, they just gotta make a revolution. The right side is uphill, due to the fact that in her life she must adhere to the values she professes. No right-winger can convince anyone to live a conventional life if he does not live it himself.
It would be large if the Polish right hand, which unfortunately is mostly fooled by the media (although to a lesser degree from the left), began to return to the classics of conservative thought. Let us not delude ourselves, the viruses of liberalism and Marxism are dangerous not only to the already convinced, but besides to all those who deal with public affairs in general.
