P. Krzemiński: Archbishop Galbas – hope or threat to Catholic Tradition?

Not only supporters of the open Church talk of Archbishop Galbas in the superlatives themselves, but besides any faithful who attend the approved Church Masses of Trent.

This is astounding due to the fact that Archbishop Galbas is simply a progressive supporter of synodality, renewal in the Holy Spirit, as well as ecumenical reconciliation above Catholic doctrine, as he expressed on 23 January in the Lutheran congregation in Warsaw. He stated that “ecumen is God’s dream.” The informing of Pius XI contained in the encyclical is recalled Mortalium Animos:

‘Here the misconceptions on which the full foundation of these matters and the various common efforts of non-Catholics towards the unification of Christian Churches, as mentioned, should be clarified and removed. The initiators of this thought almost proceed to quote Christ’s words: “To all be one... Let 1 be a flock and 1 shepherd" (Jn 17, 21 and 10, 16), but in this way, as if these words express a want and a request which are yet to be fulfilled. They believe that the unity of religion and direction, which is the mark of the actual and 1 Church of Christ, has never existed before and does not be present either.“

Not only does the archbishop have a problem teaching Pius XI, he rejects his encyclical Quas Primas, he calls for the building of a secular state, and many homily denied Christ's authority over temporal affairs, stated that Christ the King's feast "is not intended to enthron Christ as king of this or any another part of the earth" (https://www.archidiocesekatowicka.pl/o-diocese/updates/3431-app-galbas-chrystus-want-first-in-our-life)

Another conviction was Pope Pius XI, who wrote:

‘He would err greatly, who would deny Christ, as a Man, authority over any temporal affairs, for Christ has received from the Father unlimited right over all things created, so that everything is subject to His will“

‘Governors, officials and single citizens have a work to worship Christ publically and obey his laws. The heads of the secular society will, on their part, reminisce to the Last judgement erstwhile Christ accuses those who expelled him from public life, who despised him from the side or ignored him, and will most severely avenge specified large insults. His royal dignity requires that the full state be governed by God's commandments and Christian principles, erstwhile establishing laws, in the management of tribunals, in the intellectual and moral formation of young people, which must respect healthy doctrine and moral purity.“

And in the spirit sphere, Exclence promotes false teachings. Archbishop Galbas rejects Catholic knowing of suffering. 1 interview said: “We do not request suffering for anything. It always destroys, degrades and ruins. I'm certain it doesn't. The question is, erstwhile we experience it, and yet it happens almost constantly, erstwhile we experience physical, spiritual, intellectual suffering, and sometimes all at once, erstwhile we are a bundle of suffering, can we do something about it?”https://www.pap.pl/updates/abp-galbas-me-not once-difficult-is-believe-in-god-interview)

Why, then, did the psalmist say: “My pain in my sight always” (Psalm 37:18) and Saint Paul: “We carry in our body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus may appear in our body” (2 Cor. 4,10)? “

Suffering is as noble, as it is, and as long as it is experienced in union with Christ's sacrifice and suffering. It is through suffering that we participate in the Cross of the Savior. However, the Archbishop confesses only the joyful aspect of Christianity, which coincides with his constant talk of secular charisms and support for renewal in the Holy Spirit. The Protestant Pentestostical Currents reject Christ’s Sacrifice and place an emphasis on His Resurrection. The fresh Advent Church is created not on the altar and sacrifice, but on empty feelings, which cannot be a determinant of what religion is.

Summing up Archbishop Galbas is surely not a bishop who will support the Catholic Tradition and throw her glove sooner or later.
