Faithful believers attached to the Catholic tradition in Olsztyn are waiting for a unique event. Archbishop Józef Górzyński will dedicate 3 bells, the voice of which will now be accompanied by the Warmian Ministry of Latin Tradition. The Metropolitan will execute a rite according to the conventional pontificate.
As Fr Grzegorz Śniadoch IBP points out, the ceremony planned for 6 September at 12 noon is simply a double uncommon event. It is not all day that 1 can participate in the ordination of church bells. On the 1 hand, in parishes with a longer history, it is seldom essential to exchange them, and on the another hand, as the priest of the Warmiński Environment of Latin Tradition notes, present parish priests do not always decide to assemble bells... Instead, emitting their sound from the speaker.
According to liturgical regulations, the dedication of the bells will be made by the Metropolitan of Warmia Archbishop Józef Górzyński. Hierarch will execute the rite in accordance with the provisions of the conventional pontificate. The Archbishop will devote a full of 3 bells, each dedicated to a different, crucial occasion this year. This is the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nice, the 1050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland and the Holy Year.
“After the dedication of the bells there will be a picnic in the garden by the church. We cordially invitation you and ask you to advance the event!” we read in Sunday announcements on the profile of the Warmia Pastorate of Latin Tradition.
Holy Mass in the classical Roman ritual is celebrated in Olsztyn in the Church of Our woman of Rosary. The Holy Sacrifice is celebrated on the Lord's Day at 11 a.m. and on weekdays according to announcements.
