Olek Sikora, the presenter of Polsat, is simply a crucial figure on the Polish tv market. For 9 years TVP viewers could watch it, among others, in “Asking for breakfast” and the show “You Can Dance. fresh generation’. Sikora admitted that after leaving TVP his landing in Polsata was rather soft. “Everybody wondered. What about Sikora? I did not comment on leaving TVP for 2 very prosaic, trivial reasons. First thing. I had absolutely nothing at first, due to the fact that this telephone didn't ringing on the last day of the month, erstwhile I closed the door behind me in Polish Television”, he explains. He adds that if Polsat had not called, he would have knocked on the door of the “sun station”.
Relationship with Małgorzata Tomaszewska
1 of the people with whom the presenter worked and is inactive friends is Małgorzata Tomaszewska. “I like her for being completely different from me. due to the fact that I don't think I'd get along with a man like Olek Sikora. Because, of course, I have many qualities that prevail in my favor. I have quite a few positives, but I besides have quite a few negatives. And Gossip, where I have negatives, has positives and vice versa. And that's how we get along so well," Sikora says.
Kraków and household Roots
Sikora comes from Krakow, a city that has had a large impact on his life and career. “Kraków is my city, my homeland. This is where I was born, this is where I grew up, this is where I got my education. Kraków is simply a city that has a peculiar place in my heart”, he says. He adds that his attachment to Krakow owes his family, which has always been powerfully connected with this city.
Good kind and household Influence
Sikora admitted that he inherited a good kind from his father. "My father was always a man of advanced individual culture, always taking care of his appearance and behaviour. And I think I took it from me due to the fact that I have always tried to be a man who is an example of good individual culture," he says.
What if he wasn't a presenter?
Sikora admitted that if he had not been a tv presenter, he would most likely have worked in the media industry, but in a different role. "I think I might have been a journalist, possibly even a director. due to the fact that I was always curious in the media, I always wanted to do something in this direction," she says.
New Chapter in the Karier
Sikora is grateful for the fresh chapter in his career that opened up to him after moving to Polsat. “I am glad to be able to work in a station like Polsat, where I can show my skills and prosecute my passions,” he says. He adds that his primary goal is always to do something that is crucial to him and that gives him satisfaction.
According to Central Statistical Office data, in 2022 the number of people employed in the media sector in Poland was over 130 thousand. Of these, 65% were men and 35% were women. Polsat, the station where Olek Sikora works, is 1 of the largest and most popular tv stations in Poland, with a marketplace share of more than 20%.
It is worth noting that Olek Sikora is simply a very active character in social media, where he has over 200 000 followers on Instagram and over 100 000 on Facebook. His social media activity helps him keep contact with viewers and advance his tv programs.
