The peculiar Rapporteur of the Organisation for safety and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for sex published a study on the situation of "reproductive and sexual rights". The document, which was written from an utmost left-wing perspective, revealed that the importance of "antigender" movements was growing. The protection of the conceived life was considered a threat to democracy. Moreover, it was pointed out that there were difficulties in accessing Ukrainians for abortion in Poland. Acting within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Cooperation and safety in Europe (Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for safety and Co-operation in Europe – OSCE, OSCE) peculiar typical for sex (OSCE PA peculiar typical on sex Issues) published the reportThe subject is the situation of "health and reproductive and sexual rights" in the region.
The document, which duplicates all utmost left-wing theories on sex and sex of man, is fundamentally divided into 3 parts. In the first, the rapporteur discusses wellness and reproductive and sexual rights, identifying current risks, and makes recommendations to the associate States. The second part summarises the activities of the peculiar typical from 2024 to 2025.
The last part of the study presents data on "sex balance" (gender balance) in the Bureau and Secretariat of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, statistic on the participation of women in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's statutory meetings, election reflection missions and committees ad hoc, and information on the representation of women in the national parliaments of the OSCE associate States.
However, the authors do not effort to specify the meaning of the word "health and reproductive and sexual rights", for the purposes of the reflections presented in this publication, it is worth telling readers what is in this concept.
Health and reproductive and sexual rights (Sexual and Reproductive wellness and Rights), in the authoritative papers of various global organisations and another entities besides appearing as "reproductive and sexual rights" (sexual and reproductive rights) or "reproductive rights" (reproductive rights) is an undefined and widely understood concept, including a human reproductive competence team.
In this context, it is peculiarly worth recalling that left-wing liberal environments derive from this concept the alleged right to abortion, which they consider to be an integral part of "reproductive and sexual rights".
The meritorian part of the study begins with a reminder of global commitments on "health and reproductive and sexual rights". At the same time, the paper points out incorrectly that "guarantees on wellness and reproductive and sexual rights have been confirmed in the basic global conventions and agreements on human rights" (p. 5).
The study refers, for example, to the provisions of the Convention guaranteeing women "equal rights in the free and informed determination of the number of children and the intervals between their birth and in matters of access to information, guidance and means of exercising that right" [Article 16(1)(2) of the Convention].
In fact, the 1994 global Conference on Population and Development, which they referred to, explicitly stressed that "governments should take appropriate steps to aid women avoid abortion", and abortion itself "in no case should be promoted as a method of household planning" (paragraph 7.24).
Furthermore, it is worth noting that the Programme explicitly states that "any measures or changes related to abortion under the wellness care strategy can only be determined at national or local level, in accordance with the national legislative process" (paragraph 8.25).
In its document, the rapporteur devotes comparatively much attention to the decision of the Polish Constitutional Court of 2020, indicating that Poland has become the only associate State of the European Union and 1 of the 2 countries participating in the OSCE structures, which in fresh past has tightened the rules on access to abortion.
The peculiar Rapporteur recommends the implementation of the guidelines of the planet wellness Organisation, in which countries are recommended, inter alia, to full decriminalise abortions and to prevent the usage of the alleged "clause of conscience".
It should besides be noted that no of the treaties contain provisions relating to the concept of "reproductive and sexual rights", and no global agreement establishes "right to abortion". On the another hand, many global agreements on human rights contain provisions guaranteeing everyone's right to life, specified as Article 2 of the 1950 European Convention on Human Rights or Article 6 of the 1966 global Covenant on civilian and Political Rights.
Moreover, the recommendations referred to by the CEDAW Committee are not legal standards, but recommendations which could be classified as a category of soft-law acts (soft Law). In conclusion, it is hard to agree with the author of the study that "guarantees on wellness and reproductive and sexual rights have been confirmed in basic global conventions and agreements on human rights".
The further part of the study emphasises that movements against "sex equality" (gender equality) in the OSCE region and worldwide endanger "health and reproductive and sexual rights". In doing so, attention was given to "antigender movements" (anti-gender moves), which, in the opinion of the authors of the document, are to act increasingly actively in fresh years. It is pointed out that they are trying, through organised campaigns and legislative actions, to influence legislation, policy and public opinion.
The rapporteur gives an example of specified actions in order to keep or ban abortion. These moves are besides intended to mark human rights defenders and civilian society organisations working to advance and defend "reproductive and sexual rights".
In addition, in any countries, civilian society organisations dealing with the promotion of neo-Lysenkoism are to have difficulties in obtaining funding, participating in decision-making processes and implementing certain actions due to legislation, policies and public campaigns. The study besides indicates that the "anti-gender" movements are increasingly active at global level.
citing the data of the pro-abortion organization Center for Reproduction Rights, the peculiar Rapporteur notes that in the last 30 years only 4 countries have tightened the rules on abortion, and among the OSCE associate States only 2 - Poland and the United States.
On the another hand, the study notes that in many countries there are many difficulties in the anticipation of abortion, including the appointment of physicians to a conscience clause, the deficiency of provision by hospitals of "services" related to abortion or the introduction of regulations whereby persons wishing to have abortion must carry out ultrasound examinations.
Further to the report, The rapporteur points out the problems they would face... Ukrainian women leaving their country after Russian aggression, in countries specified as Poland and Hungary, in relation to "reproductive and sexual rights", including the anticipation of abortion. "Access to safe abortion and post-abortion care was peculiarly hard for displaced people in Germany, Poland and Slovakia, which in any cases forced them to search abortion services abroad" It is written on page 13.
OUR COMMENTS: Since for Ukrainians abortion is more crucial than escaping the war, nothing stands in the way of returning to their country, where in this respect there is simply a free American and money can be bought any paramedical service.
