Under Limanowa, a quiet tiny Polish town, immigrants from Azerbaijan slaughtered ritual goats, sheep and cows. Everything happened in an unincorporated slaughterhouse, and they are liable citizens of Azerbaijan, of which at least 1 of them resided illegally in Poland.
Contractors wanted to satisfy request (increased by expanding numbers of muslim immigrants in Poland) for halol meat, which was prepared in accordance with the principles of the Quran. The meat was then to go to various restaurants serving kebabs in Kraków and Zakopane.
Not only the process of ritual slaughter, which was carried out under conditions that did not meet sanitary requirements, but besides what was then the waste, raises doubts. Various post-mortem wastes specified as bones, hooves, horns, or skins have been observed in the Liman region, creating a possible biological threat and damaging the ecosystem.
The police, together with the D.A., are investigating the case for further details of the case, as well as the scale of the illegal activities of Azerbaijani immigrants.
