Polish “politicians” and alleged commentaries are bored of repeating the mantra that Gombrowicz's fight for mines, called by them a policy that is occupied by citizens' attention, is 1 thing, but on the most crucial issues, they all “talk with 1 voice”.
It is hard to give a better example of denying both common sense and the foundations of our civilization. This means that in the most crucial matters, presenting arguments and examining them in the course of discussions do not make sense to them that disputes about second or third-rate matters, about who insulted whom or expressed in a crying speech of accusations of deficiency of empathy (this word makes a stunning career today), are the only acceptable areas of dispute. In crucial matters, we sing in a compatible choir, or alternatively chant the slogans or folk wisdoms imposed on everyone. A catalogue of dogmas that "normal nobody questions" concerns all the most crucial matters, and even if differences arise, they concern details alternatively than the essence of the case.
This brings about a kind of ritualization of mindlessness. This has been the case during the time of the pandemic, and it is the case with climateism. Today, however, the most voice is cast in the vote concerning the war in Ukraine. Our cognition comes from long experience in relations with Russia, which constantly attacked us, first drove us out of the Kremlin, received Smolensk, then the partitions, one more time drove Napoleon out of Moscow, the uprising, the Tsaric oppression, Bolshevikism erstwhile the white carat turned red, and yet putinism as a synthesis of all these horrors.
The preaching of these historical and revealing besides European and American listeners in our view is awesome and, in fact, embarrassing. Polish politicians did not consider that almost all these countries possessed their own empires, all fought and oppressed each another or murdered each other, and sometimes exterminated another non-European peoples. Many of them proceed to do so through global financial institutions, large corporations and more sophisticated, modern forms of colonialism. The stubbornness with which Polish politicians present their findings to the West resembles in this context the attitude of a unusual and hardworking old man, who explains his miserable destiny to the old ladies the wickedness of a competitor, due to the fact that this 1 long ago took his fiancée away. The function of this bride is played by the states of the erstwhile empire that we were part of, and which we got with the release of our queen for the Lithuanian prince, due to the fact that this empire was Lithuanian by name, and Russian in content and got besides easy for us and it was besides large for us to consume. This terrible dowry forced Poland for respective centuries into a mistaken geopolitical and civilizational path. From then on, alternatively of focusing on the Baltic and the Oder, to open the sword for the gates of Kiev, our natural rival became Moscow, against which Lithuania even allied with the Tatars.
Within the limits of the years after 1945 and after the 1989 transformations, the return to the Jagiellonian policy is peculiarly pointless and condemning the deficiency of policy to the geography and national interests. In another words, we conduct the Jagiellonian politics within the hub borders and after returning to the monoethnic political community. After the emergence of independent states between Russia and Poland, Russia has become our natural ally according to the most apparent principles of geopolitics. This is peculiarly justified for countries where it dominates, as is the case in Lithuania, a hostile attitude towards Polishness, and even anti-Polish chaotic Nazism as in Ukraine. Ukraine against Poland is oriented towards Germany and dominated by the European Union, as the Germans supported the creation of Ukrainian nationalism against Poland. Poland should naturally search alliances east of Ukraine and west of Germany, possibly overseas, unless it costs besides much. It remains even more modest, but, as far as possible, a much more realistic confederate option that the Piasts wisely chose to be baptized through the Czech Republic. This is the direction he advocated for close-up with Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Jerzy Giedroć, especially after 1989.
And this should be discussed in Poland with a much greater interest than about who was more seriously offended or showed deficiency of empathy. And they should all be considered as a full subject of discussion. This would be possible provided that Poland and Poles are at the centre of their interest, not declared “one voice” by anti-Russianism, which is, for apparent reasons, on the hand of pro-Ukrainianism and pro-Germanism, but does not mean pro-Polishism.
Contrary to appearances, the large Poles engaged in patriotic work did not "speak with 1 voice", on the contrary – in their ideas they frequently differed extremely, that was in 1813 erstwhile the prince argued Józef Poniatowski and Prince Adam Czartoryski, this was the case at the time of planet War I erstwhile Dmowski and Piłsudski presented fundamentally opposing political concepts (one was "pro-German", the another "pro-Russian") in any way in 1945, which resulted in an increase in geopolitical independency and breakthrough interior changes in 1956. Meanwhile, present those who advertise the slogan of “talking with 1 voice” mask their own serveilism towards this side of the planet dispute with this convenient slogan, which dominated the communicative in Poland, which in the planet game seems stronger to them, sometimes they show their own idiosyncrasies or hide the intellectual void and moral misery. And everything creates an excellent base to make a more or little conscious agentry. “Speaking with 1 voice” reminds us of a situation of moral panic known in sects or in any families, where it is simply a voice, is determined by a louder hysterical cry, tapping with your feet, fist punching or moral blackmail. An excellent analysis of this phenomenon was conducted by Lech Mażewski regarding insurgent blackmail in the book under the same title. However, in Polish thinking, or alternatively in Polish thoughtlessness, it is simply a phenomenon much deeper and wider, which is the basis of our disasters to which we are going like a flock, in which all manifestation of independent reasoning and voice of reason which deviates from the imposed direction or is bloomed with the contemptible grin described by Witkacy in the "Unwashed Souls" as "a grin of a moron" or treated as a betrayal.
