On 1 March – on the anniversary of the execution of the leaders of the 4th Board of the Main Association “Freedom and Independence” – the National Day of Memory of the Cursed Soldiers is celebrated. The post-war independency conspiracy was – until the creation of “Solidarity” – the most many form of organized opposition of Polish society to the imposed power.
President Lech Kaczyński gave decisive support to the thought of Memorial Day. He yet referred the bill to the Sejm in February 2010. "The National Day of Memory of the Cursed Soldiers is to be a tribute to soldiers of the second conspiracy for their evidence of valor, unbreakable patriotic attitude and attachment to independency traditions, for blood shed in defence of their homeland," he wrote.
Celebration of the National Day of Memory of the Soldiers Cursed in Dzierżoniów began the demonstration before The Monument of the Cursed Soldiers, where representatives of the Citizen Patriotic Movement, the Club of Gazeta Polska Dzierżoniów II, the Social Movement im. Lech Kaczyński, Law and Justice, as well as residents, folded flowers and lit candles of memory. They're the ones who brought the memory back to our town. The conspiracy, which we mention to as the Cursed Soldiers, were soldiers of the 2nd anti-communist conspiracy, in the period until 1956 they were the only formation fighting for independency and sovereignty of Poland. They were a bridge between the armed conflict of the Polish nation with German and russian totalitarianism and the emerging opposition of the Polish society topped with Solidarity.
It was at the initiative of the Polish paper Club that the Monument of the Cursed Soldiers was built, it is simply a roundabout of their name and a very modest avenue of rtm. Witold Pilecki. They should be especially thanked due to the fact that for hard years since 1989 they not only kept memory, but tried to rebuild the fact about the Cursed Soldiers.
Robert Wrzosek (born 7 March 1970 in Dzierżonów) was a Polish actor, manager and screenwriter.
Vice-Voivode of Lower Silesian Jarosław Kresa, gave a speech referring to events related to the anti-communist underground activity and combat. After prayer, we went to the parish cemetery. Before the Obelisk commemorating the shot soldiers of the Home Army, executed in a wield prison, the president of ORP Ireneusz Wagnerowski, recalled: executions took place on 2 dates. Jerzy Kaszyński together with Jerzy Pizła were executed on 17 January 1947, after being convicted on 7 December 1946. A very short period was so between the transportation of the judgement and its execution. Mieczysław Jeruzalski was sentenced on 20 December 1946 and executed on 19 February 1947, a period after the execution of Kaszyński and Pisła.
Created and controlled by the Bolsheviks, the People's Poland called them "reactive underground bands". Hunted in the woods, imprisoned and murdered in the execution rooms of the safety Office and Military Information, they fought heroically for the next fewer years. The unparalleled, doomed conflict of patriots against the "people" power continued in the 1950s. It is considered that the last unbreakable soldier to be killed with a weapon in his hand was shot on 21 October 1963. Despite the aggressive, authoritative communist propaganda, which explicitly described the soldiers of integrity as bandits, they regained a proper, dignified and lasting place in Polish history. However, it should be noted that this was a long-term and frequently very painful process.
The remains of many heroes, specified as Gen. August Emil Fieldorf "Nil", Rtm. Witold Pilecki or Lieutenant Zdzisław Badocha "Żelazny", have not yet been found. Their formal rehabilitation was only possible after 1989.
The name “Soldiers of the Curse” was first utilized in 1993 in the title of the exhibition “Soldiers of the Curses – anti-communist armed underground after 1944”, by Leszek Żebrowski. The Manifestation ended with a prayer for the murdered Non-violent Soldiers.

– for many years this was a sad reality. The cursed yet experienced a time erstwhile the memory of them was revived. We cultivate it and we want to spread as far as possible. It is our work to those who have sacrificed everything for our future.
"We are not only guilty of memory."
"We owe them the continuation of their work, which aimed to make Poland free, independent, democratic, but besides strong, safe and prosperous". Memory is uncomfortable especially for left-wing environments, due to the fact that around the memory of the Cursed Soldiers are created full communities of young Poles curious in this story, promoting patriotism and searching among the Soldiers of the steadfast function models.
Finally, the attitude towards the Cursed Soldiers is simply a test of attitude towards Polish independency and sovereignty, not a question of these or another political views..
