A debate was held in the hall of the Centre for athletics and Recreation in Koński, which was controversial. The mayor of Koński, Krzysztof Obratański, in an interview with the written portal independent.pl admitted that the officials were convinced that they were signing a contract with TV. – There were people who introduced themselves as representatives of television. – he said. Meanwhile, the typical of TVP, Joanna Dunikowska-Paź, indicated during the event the staff of Rafał Trzaskowski as the organizer.
TV or staff? Conflicting information
According to the independent.pl report, it was not clear who was formally liable for organising the debate. However, Danikowska-Paź clearly stated: – The debate is organised by the election staff of presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, and tv Poland, TVN24 and Polsat News undertook to conduct and implement this debate.
The portal independent.pl draws attention to another thread: – TVP denies and claims that Rafał Trzaskowski's staff. Świętokrzyskie parliamentarians of the Civic Platform say television. 1 thing is certain – the hall was rented by the Media home AM Studio, owned by a colleague of Donald Tusk.
Who paid for the hall?
AM Studio paid 20 1000 PLN for rent. However, it is inactive unclear who was liable for arranging the hall and the transmission. The mayor of Obratski revealed that the PO initially reported a desire to rent a hall for an "internal event". – The intention to book the hall was notified by the Civic Platform, or by Minister Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz – he said.
He besides added that later people appeared appearing as representatives of television. – On my decision the manager of OSiR made everyone in Polish, with open arms – he noted.
Agreement signed with AM
The Mayor stressed that the final agreement was signed on 10 April with AM. – The organization is AM – explained. Officials were convinced that they were working with television, not with the election staff. – When I got the contract, I was convinced myself, and this belief shared by many of my employees that we were having talks with tv or for television – said Obratski.
