The My Current 6.0 program is another installment of a government initiative supporting the improvement of renewable energy in Poland. Who can usage My Current 6.0?
The My Current 6.0 program is aimed at owners of photovoltaic microinstallations with a power of 2 to 20 kW, which were reported to the power grid after 1 August 2024. The fresh edition of the program provides the chance to get backing for photovoltaic installations and additional equipment specified as electricity retention and heat storage.
What backing can you obtain?
The amount of the co-financing depends on the kind of installation and integrated equipment:
- Photovoltaic (2-20 kW): Up to PLN 7 1000 can be obtained.
- Electricity storage: Co-financing up to PLN 16 thousand, provided that the retention capacity is at least 1.5 times higher than the highest capacity of the PV installation.
- Heat storage: Up to PLN 5 1000 can be obtained.
By combining quotas, it is possible to get maximum support of PLN 28 thousand.
Conditions for participation in the Programme
In order to get maximum funding, respective key conditions must be met:
- Network application after 1 August 2024.: Only installations notified after that date are eligible for the scheme.
- Net-billing: Switching to the net-billing strategy is mandatory if you plan to apply for backing for energy or heat storage.
- Compliance with method requirements: All installations must be connected to the electricity grid and their combined power together with the energy retention shall not exceed 50 kW.
How and erstwhile to Make a Conclusion?
Applications for backing may be submitted from 2 September to 20 December 2024 or until the amount of funds which amounts to PLN 400 million is exhausted. Applications are accepted online and decisions are made on an ongoing basis.
