I turned on the radio and made any strong coffee. It's completely unnecessary, due to the fact that the information I've heard has raised my blood pressure.
One! Ombudsman (RPO) Marcin Wiązek spoke to the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar with the request to let the applicant of the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecutors (KSSIP) with abroad citizenship to take up the position of prosecutor. It's about an applicant with Ukrainian citizenship.
Two! Deputy Minister for Education Joanna Mucha He argues that Polish and Ukrainian children should learn past in specified a way that “we and Ukrainians will work it out together”. He's talking about any kind of centering right.
I thought – I'm most likely sleepy. We request to check it out. I'm looking online, and of course, no conspiracy explanation of history, just facts. Dailyity III McPolski.
In the first case, Marcin Wiązek, who was an RPO, made a request to the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar to let the applicant of the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecutors (KSSiP) with abroad citizenship (in this case Ukrainian) to take up the position of prosecutor asessor. According to RPO, ‘The prohibition of abroad citizenship in this context is incompatible with the right to access to public service and the rule of equality with the law’. Under the current legal system, it is possible to treat it by way of exception – points out the RPO, under Article 4 of the Act amending the Act on the National Judicial School and the Public Prosecutor's Office, Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar may consent to the Assessorian position of a woman, despite her nationality of Ukraine. Thus the Ukrainian can become a prosecutor in Poland. Information on this subject can be found, among another things, in the Republic of Poland. RPO Marcin Wiązek requesting Adam Bodnar’]
About the second. "Ukrainian children in Poland should learn according to a strategy that we will make together with Ukraine," said Mucha. The educational content proposed by the Ukrainian side is known only in outline. The Polish-Ukrainian Commission will meet in days". On the another hand, the question of whether Ukrainian children should learn about the Volyn massacre was answered: “Polish children and Ukrainian children should learn past in the way that we and Ukrainians work out together. This is very important. Just as we and Germany have worked it out, so we should besides work out a common method and common content of teaching with the Ukrainians. It will be very difficult, I know.” Information on this subject can be found, among others, on the Kresy portal,pl
Back to the first case. In my opinion, Mr Bodnar's views on this substance are not irrelevant. I remind you that already 7 years ago, Bodnar, during the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of Operation “Wisła” held in Przemyśl, said: “The process of reprivatization has never been completed and cannot stay until there is simply a mostly applicable reprivatisation bill returning the property to displaced people.” At the same ceremony, he said: “According to global law it is then a standard that, after leaving their place of residence, persons can return to their homes. This did not happen here." I do not think it is right for Ukrainians to deal with specified matters in the future in the Polish judiciary. The father's Bodnar household are Ukrainians. They were resettled in 1947 as part of Operation “Wisła” from Rakowa village close Sanok to Earth Recovered. In my opinion, in this case, the old Latin regulation should be invoked: nemo est iudex in causa sua So no 1 can be a justice on their own. Isn't this a conflict of interest? That's a question for my fellow lawyers.
And the another thing. A serious state has its historical narrative. The thought of consulting the content of textbooks with Ukrainians, and earlier Germany, is highly irresponsible. Are Katyn and on September 17 representatives of the Ministry of Education intend to discuss with their counterparts in the Russian Federation? To besides take into account their point of view and not to make the Russians surviving in Poland unhappy? Will the Polish-Swedish War, called the Flood, be discussed with representatives of the Swedish Ministry of Education? Before Solomon Morel's name appears on the textbooks, will he first be consulted with the Ministry of Education in Tel Aviv due to Israeli citizenship?
I don't blame Ukraine for this. They act rationally and according to their national interests. I resent politicians in Poland for acting irrationally and against our national interest. all average intelligent man knows that states and national interests have conflicting interests and another objectives. I urge to all of them the 1902 work of 1 of the fathers of National Democracy Zygmunt Balicki "National egoism towards ethics". There is an highly crucial conviction to think about: “There is most likely no nation that has specified a weak sense of selfishness, so frequently it has committed itself to its own responsibilities and its future as our people.” What I want for – definitely more national selfishness.
