The first debate of US presidential candidates from the Democratic and Republican organization Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will take place on Tuesday 10 September.
Pretenders to the highest state office will meet in Philadelphia, the event will start at 21.00 local time (03.00 Warsaw time), organized by ABC channel. The presidential elections will take place on 5 November, the participants have not yet agreed on fresh rounds of debates, so the current gathering may be the only one.
Rules – no talks
There will be no audience in the studio again, this election run is the first in the United States since the beginning of live debate broadcast erstwhile a gathering between 2 candidates is not allowed for viewers. At the same time, the Democratic candidate claims that she is ready for debate and Trump is confident, stressing that he defeated Biden so much that he withdrew from the race. The June gathering of the current president with his predecessor actually ended with a complete defeat of Biden, who could not clearly formulate ideas and lead them to implementation, frequently stumbling. He has since abandoned his plans to search re-election, and Harris has been elected candidate behind closed doors and formally nominated at the Democratic convention. During this time Trump virtually avoided the bullet, avoiding an effort on his life. His organization has besides nominated a Republican for the highest position.
The main problem, Harris, remains the deficiency of a clear agenda: on many issues, she has left her erstwhile positions, any initiatives repeat Trump's proposals and others are not clear enough. During the debate, he is to focus on the success of the current administration, face—the erstwhile prosecutor—the convicted criminal Trump and intimidate all conservative “Project 2025” whose Republican is disowning on all occasion.
