Media commentators, who were inactive in contempt of Russia until recently, concluded that (here I quote) "we were cornered by Ukrainians". The comments on this issue, including, in particular, the attempts to justify the causes of this failure, make a depressing impression.
The helplessness and regret that the truly neglected Ukrainian politicians, who should be guided only by gratitude and loyalty for our support and advanced protection, have failed their hopes. They took (and proceed to take) what we give them unconditionally, but for protection they turned to the powerful of this world, who did not call themselves "ministers of the Ukrainian people." Until recently, in a pompous way, the power position of Polish east policy was praised, our country became (as if) not only a "important player", but besides the West had to accept anti-Russian diagnosiss from Warsaw. Not only did he not accept anything, but he besides did not accept us as "a lawyer fighting Ukraine". This must have happened due to the fact that the Kiev authorities request money that we do not have and will not have. In this war (as in each) it is only about money, and the position of a "important player" is very expensive; 1 who gives everything he has, even though he has small and then hopes for selfless gratitude, is pathetic and above all irrelevant.
The basic political cognition includes auctioning and alternate views. He who does not trade in advance declaring his ‘unconditional support’ is simply a diletant. Not only did no 1 believe in the Warsaw forecast of Russia's already doomed military defeat and even its disintegration, but no 1 even listened to it. Would anyone today, without embarrassment, repeat all the nonsense our Russian experts have said? We called them “nightstands” due to the fact that their secret cognition of what Putin is going to do, gave birth to suspicions that they were taking it under the bed where the “dictator” sleeps (there was a potty under the bed). Of course, not all Russian experts from the Vistula Rivers have participated in this masquerade, but “heretics” have long been excluded and, above all, effort to intimidate themselves. In a planet mastered by fools, it is not worth fighting for subjectivity, participation and community.
The Polish political scene is simply a phenomenon, and in another countries no politician would dare to call himself “the servant of the Ukrainian people” and authorize the conflict of 3rd countries as its “our” war. This declaration must be paid dearly, and the weaker and struggling side of the conflict will not bargain. In Polish-Ukrainian relations it is the opposite. Ukrainian politicians pay attention to Warsaw: since it is “your war”, you must be generous: we have yet fought for you. They invented the absurd and internally contradictory doctrine that "Russia is absolutely threatening Poland", even though it is already (almost) defeated by Ukrainians who must win (and win) in this war. After all, this is absurd, which Polish politicians have been repeating for over 2 years. How did that happen? Are they that incompetent? possibly there is another, more crucial explanation for this phenomenon: throughout the political class (all COPIS) there is simply a camouflaged and very efficient Ukrainian lobby, or Galician lobby, which has a crucial impact on the abroad policy of our country. They execute advanced and very advanced functions, but they do not represent a abroad diaspora.
The Poles “reduced by Ukrainians” will be silent in a moment, just like another net stars of geopolitics. Does anyone inactive remember the “they” talk about a common Polish-Ukrainian alliance and even our union with this country? There is no longer, and there has never been a "our war", due to the fact that the enemy proved to be an alleged ally. Compassion is due to the recipient – they do not request to be bullied. But they better be quiet. Have mercy on yourselves.
