Celebration of the 1000th anniversary of Bolesław Chrobry's coronation in 2025.
JANUARY 2025 — COUNTRIES
The inauguration of the Millennium celebrations of the Kingdom of Poland will be the Holy Mass at the Coronation Altar in Wawel Cathedral.
After the ceremony, there will be a short historical-circular session in the City of Krakow office, as the secular inauguration of Millennium. After the lectures, artistic works created on the occasion of Millennium will be presented.
The end of the Krakow celebration will be the reception at the “Hawełka” restaurant in the Main marketplace Square, for guests of honor and participants of the celebrations invited from various Polish and abroad backgrounds.
We would like to invitation abroad guests, especially those with whom we have worked for many years and representatives of the consular corps, to all-day celebrations in Krakow.
MAY 2025 — WARSAW
The main point of the May celebration in Warsaw will be the three-day technological session devoted to the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland. The achievements of this session are to stay a permanent trace in the collections of Polish historiography. For a larger and more effective popularisation of this publication, the book will appear in parallel with the session.
We want to conclude the Warsaw session with a solemn Mass in the Basilica of the Archatedal St John the Baptist and a short visit to the Royal Castle.

SEPTEMBER 2025 — WATICAN
The National Millennium Pilgrimage to the Vatican has the importance of a historical religious-cultural symbol. Baptism started the past of Poland and placed our country on the map of civilization of the world. From Rome came approval for the coronation of Prince Bolesław, which elevated the Piasovian dominium to state dignity – royal, giving it the rank of ultimate political designation of the then Christian world.
A 1000 years after this momentous event, we go to Rome, to the Vatican, to execute Mass in front of the main altar for the gift of the Chrobry Crown. During this Mass the address of thanksgiving will be read and handed over to the Holy Father.
The invitation to participate in the pilgrimage will be sent to many dioceses and parishes in Poland and abroad, especially those centres with which our organizations keep close contact.
LISTOPAD 2025 — WROCŁAW
The celebration of the Millennium Year will be concluded at the feast of Christ the King during the solemn Mass, called the Coronation Mass, in the Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Wrocław. The ceremony will be presided by JE Rev. Archbishop Józef Kupiny Metropolitan Wrocławski. Specially for this occasion, a musical part - “Coronation Mass” was commissioned, which will set the framework for the full celebration.
The Holy Mass will be preceded by a procession with coronation insignia – the restored Crown of Chrobry, robbed by the Prussians of Wawel and destroyed – from the Chapel of Blessed. Czesława, patron of Wrocław and hero of the war with the Tatars, to the Cathedral. The co-founder of the Chapel was the prince Jakub Sobieski, and in the Cathedral, the Sobieski parent of God, called Madonna Wrocławska, will be given a coronation insignia, during Mass.
Procession of the Chrobry Crown from the Chapel of Blessed. Czesław to the Cathedral will besides be a symbolic introduction of insignias to the Archdiocese Museum in Wrocław, due to the fact that there they will be exhibited as a deposit of the owner.
Officially celebrating the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland 1025 – 2025 organized by the Polish Crown Foundation and another associations of the environment, will end the ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers in front of the monument of Bolesław Chrobry.
YEAR 2024
In 2024, we want to visit with the Crown of Chrobry all archdioceses in Poland, so that at least in 1 Cathedral of Archdiocese we can celebrate the Holy Mass. This event will be sponsored and ordered by the Knight's Order of the Polish Crown of Saint Casimir Królewicz, an association of canon law of the Wrocław Archdiocese.
OTHER ACTIONS
We want to celebrate the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland with a peculiar commemorative medal. It will be a limited series of 1001 pieces, numbered in consecutive years of Millennium from 1025 to 2025. The owner of specified a medal will be patron of 1 year Millennium. This medal will be presented at various Millennium Celebrations in 2025, awarded and presented to persons and institutions who have contributed to the organisation of the Millennium Celebrations, or graced with their presence
Another book item entitled “The Dictionary of Polish Monarchists” is being prepared. A pioneering survey which is not yet in Polish bibliography.
The Coronation Mass as a musical piece, composed specifically for the occasion of the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland, will be published in 1 copy as a manuscript, with all the principles of medieval art.
Small and large graphic and painting forms are planned: “The Coronation of Bolesław Chrobry”.
A memorial board plan was made, to be placed in temples and another places, where the hosts of the facility will agree.
The release of photographic albums related to Millennium celebrations is planned.
